Lovely food and friendly service

We ate here off the back of reviews on TA and were not disappointed. Shared the fried fish and the caprese salad for starters, large portions of each. Our mains were the veal fillet with wild mushrooms and the pork leg off the specials board - both were beautifully cooked. The atmosphere was great... read more

We found this restaurant on a quiet street in Catania. The staff were extremely helpful when we indicated that we could not speak Italian and explained all of the special menu items. The food was delicious and was complimented by local wine. Would definitely recommend if you want to experience local cuisine at reasonable prices.

We were recommended this restaurant and were very happy with the tasty traditional food and great service, the waitresses were lovely. The chef came out at the end of the evening and was very well presented. ( I say this because once in Sardinia we saw the chef and wished we had never touched his food because he looked so... More

A wonderful restaurant on a quiet street serving authentic Sicilian dishes. Not to be missed - the Vegetable Anti-Pasta Buffet. Now, I know that the moment many travelers and foodies hear the word "buffet" they run the other way (myself included). But this was a tasteful presentation of 12 different Sicilian vegetable dishes - all freshly prepared for this evening's... More

We were here on a weekday and the whole outside seating area was full with locals. As there was only one women doing the service she was running around the whole time but managed to be extremely friendly and quick. We had pasta, one with pistachio and almond pesto and one with swordfish and eggplant and both were great! We... More

We were not so impressed by this restaurant, that was recommended by the B&B where we were staying. Service was extremely slow, food nothing special. Perhaps we were just unlucky...

It's on a little piazza that cars can't reach, so you have to walk a very short distance to it, but this restaurant is so worth it. Fresh fish - cooked Sicilian style - are the majority of the menu, the cooking is wonderful, the dining room is like a library; lined with wooden shelves stacked with various barrel-aged grappa...
