Nice place, very good service. Unforrunately after the antipasti and the first course there was no capacity left for the meat ;). There was complimentary desert! Price was alos fully fair.

Make sure you have a reservation. I showed up by myself, there were multiple empty tables yet they could not accommodate me. Very disappointing. It is not an easy place to find and parking is scarce.

This restaurant offers classical Italian tastes with original recipes. We went there just because it was in the top10 in Catania in Trip advisor but in our 3 day visit in Sicilia they were not the best in pastas and we thought that they can be a little bit overrated.. Still you can give them a try if you are... More

We came at lunch time. We were welcome on the table with a complimentary bruschetta which was delicious. The grilled vegetables were so tasty.... We followed them by penne a la Norma, typical from Sicily just tomato andd aubergine but full of Flavour and Penne Al pesto wich was made with pistachio nuts,almonds,cream,brandy... Never had it before but sure I... More

Excellent food, combining tradition and imagination. The antipasto were especially great. Portions are generous so take care not to over-order. You may need to book on Fridays and Saturdays, even off-season, but less busy other days.

We went here for lunch. We came in a bit early (12:30), which apparently caused considerable stress and arguments between the staff, who remained friendly towards us. The "mountain" anti pasti was very good and the caprese salad was nice enough. My wife's sardines with raisins and breadcrumbs were well prepared, but my gamberoni were not fresh (snotty, probably frozen).... More

. Dear reviewer, Thank you for appreciating our food, and we are sorry for his carelessness .... In fact, in the menu that she has consulted the prawns are marked with an asterisk (*) as a frozen product .... The fresh prawns, (.... lobsters and lobsters), we use them only on reservation and they would pay € 35.00 per share.... More

We visited this restaurant through positive reviews on TripAdvisor and was surely happy with the choice. The service was excellent, Mirko was really helpful guiding us in English. Food was delicious and the portions were very generous. I took a set menu which consisted of an antipasta, first plate, second plate and wine for just 27EUR which was really worth... More

Catania Ruffiana is a traditional local restaurant. Not really visited by tourist but by locals. We were well served and helped. Food was tasty. decor is traditonal and certainly not trendy.
