Great food and lovely staff

The food was fantastic and the staff were friendly. We went there twice during our week-long stay in Catania, and the staff remembered us. They catered to the needs of my friend (gluten-free, vegetarian), rustling up a risotto dish that was not listed on the menu, at her request. They gave us... read more

Seemed like a local restaurant. Server was very kind. Portions were huge. Sicilian style appetizer was very tasty. Shrimp on top of the potato dish was so-so. Norma pasta was good, but kinda salty.

This is by far THE BEST experience I have ever had in any of restaurants around the world! The owner is .... Cannot describe it with words. He loves his art, hi loves his food and he makes friends with every customer he happens to have that evening! And he won't rest until you are happy with the food -... More

Worth the walk from about 5 mins from Via Etna, the starter - 10 sample fish dishes was almost a tasting menu in itself. The two pasta dishes were superb - the squash and artichoke ravioli was exceptional, topped off by all the little extras from the bruschetta on arrival, the free chocolate and limoncello to finish. Great value and... More

Though highly recommended by others, we found our dinners to be unexceptional. Good, but we've had better. Service was fine and the setting was OK.

I ordered linguini uovo e vonggole, the clams and fish eggs taste so well together with the cherry tomatoes, they even put it in a bowl so it stays warm and also couple could share. Starter and dessert come free, and they taste exceptionally good.

This is a destination restaurant. Centrally located but not on the main walking street. The reviews on this place are spot on. Great food and extremely nice staff and you know you are getting truly homemade fresh Sicilian cuisine at a really good value. They even notate on their menu to specifically ask about certain fish being "fresh" as it... More

The design inside is nothing fancy but this family restaurant is very good. Lots of local clients. Menu is in english/german/French. Staff is limited in english but it worked perfectly fine even you dont speak italian.. Friendly service. House wine 3 eur/50cl. Very tasty pasta dishes. Large portions. Antipasti mixed seafood was 10 different small dishes which were all very... More
