I agree with all the comments before - pizzoli is a special type of double crust pizza like a pizza sandwich from near syracuse...thin crust and very tasty, so much choice, waiting staff attentive - a must try in Catania!!

I went there in a group trying to get a pizza after work... and a friend suggested the place. Great pizza! I'm a lover of the thin crust. Excellent option if you are pizza eater.

Had a delicious starter of tuna and ricotta with walnuts followed by pizziole with pistaschio, ham, mushrooms, olives which had a lovely thin crust encasing a scrumptious filling. The half litres of wine were great sicilian wines at just 5.50 euros. Finished with tiramasi and coffee. Went to waxy o connors irish bar beforehand for a glass of wine and... More

I'd echo everything previous reviewers have said; friendly staff, good English spoken, the pizzolis are great, nice restaurant etc. The only thing I'd add is around location. Five minutes walk from the restaurant finds you in the heart of what looks like the red light district which doesn't make it the nicest of locations.

Been there for the first time and we can say that it was a pleasant gastronomical experience. Best of all were the Pizzoli specialities which this outlet can offer and which is most practical for those who visit in groups or couples. Puo' assagare un pezzo di piu'. And that's right. Can get a taste of the various types of... More

Fast, friendly service. Italian and English menu and they are happy to help you with their specials. Had a the special pizzolo (pizza Catania style). Yummy! Asked for a small salad as a side, that was not on the menu. No problem and totally fair price for it 3€. Nice surprise. They jumped on the craft beer trend and have... More

We have been to Eat Pizzeria twice during our week long stay in Catania. Their menu is comprehensive and almost comprised of pizzas. Amazing list. In Turkey we use pistachios basically as snack or dessert ingredients, but here they had become part of an amazing pizza, surprisingly (?) named Pistachio. Like others this was a revelation from the gods of... More

After reading reviews we tried this pizzeria. The staff were most welcoming and give us a explanation of the menu (in English, too! In fact even locals got the same help so we didn't feel as if we were different). The pizzoli were divine, and if you only have one pizza/pizzoli in Sicily, this is the place to go! The... More

Sure good pizza, but nothing more. Why is it so high on the list? But after all quality food. Only the location is a bit off but this should not keep you from visiting.
