food quality perfect, service quality perfect (lady waitress was really nice and helpful), prices perfect. This was the first restaurant we have visited in Sicily and we thought all the others would have similar quality but that was not the case. This restaurant will remain as an highlight for us.

Like most, I was skeptical that a pizzeria should rate so highly among the city's best restaurants. Well, it really is that good. The pizzolo (a kind of "pizza sandwich") is fantastic; it's a Sicilian speciality, as I understand. If you're going to have pizza in Catania, it would be foolish not to eat here.

Read the reviews and people are correct - the best pizza we have tasted. Would have been rated excellent but we felt that we were a little rushed.

Truly delicious pizza with good service for sensible prices. We highly recommend the pistachio pesto pizzolo.

A real nice place the have dinner. The staff is very friendly and willing to explain about the dishes, also in English. It looks nice and the prices are very reasonable. And the most important think, the food is real good.

I headed to Eat Pizzeria on my first night in Catania (which was also my first night in Sicily), and the pizza did not disappoint! The toppings were in abundance (I ordered a vegetarian pizza with a variety of veggies), and the pizza crust had the perfect balance of being light, fluffy, and crispy. And to make the dinner even... We had a craving for pizza and this didn't disappoint. The owner was wonderfully welcoming and explained everything in English to us. We had a salad to share to start with, then a pizza (historic!) each, then a chocolate soufflé with pistachio cream in the middle for desert. Together with a delicious bottle of Sicilian Cabernet, the total was under... More

Superb greeting and explanation of the menu to us non-speaking Italians. Friendly wait staff...and then the superior food arrived. The aromas, the taste sensations! Couldn't ask for a better casual meal in the centre of Catania.
