Slow but good. Be prepared to wait for service and your meal and even the bill in thus apparently understaffed trattoria. If you have the time, fine as the proprietor's cooking is genuine and tasty.

You know The Twilight Zone, with the creepy voice? That´s OK, you´re probably younger than me. This is the most absurd restaurant i´ve ever eaten in. Yes, it has a long wait. I get that. I was mentally prepared after reading the reviews. We arrived at around 8.45, got seated after waiting around for a couple of minutes. The waiter... More

Friendly waiters and owner. Fresh food well cooked tasty and excellent value. Take a book to read while you wait or store up lots to talk about. Very cheap wine 2 Euros for 250ml.

Our host recommend this place and it was good choice! They had the best pasta i have ever eat before. I also eated sword fish my first time and i loved it. Excellent service, food, house wine and not so expensive. Lovely and cozy traditional place. What else you can wish for holiday in Catania?

We visited this restaurant on our first night as it had a good write up in a well-known guide book. Don't bother! Whilst we were seated immediately and given menus (with an apparently huge choice), taking our order was slow - I only saw 2 waiters for probably over 100 covers. It also turned out that most of the food... More

We arrived relatively early-at 8ish. The restaurant was about 3/4 full, but very quiet as the clientele were all just staring at one another stony-faced..this was almost certainly because nobody, and I mean nobody, had any food. This should have been the clue we needed to say 'maybe we should give this place a miss' but the cheerful man serving... More

The restaurant came highly recommended. As we were instructed we arrived early so we could get a table and have our food relatively fast... Well... after 1hour and a half ... The top dish was delicious ( pasta a la Nora !) the rest, average ! AND... What our friend did not tell us is that the choice of wine... More

Well, I have problem to rate the restaurant. We visited it twice and we had two different experiences. First visit was excellent, good service, lovely food and drinks. My caponatina and pasta alla Norma were incredibly good..., my husband ordered fish and he said it was probably the best fish he ever had. Our son's food was the same good.... More
