This was the first place we ate in Sicily after checking into our hotel, and we were determined to return there before leaving, which we did a week later. A quiet courtyard upstairs took us out of the noise and heat of Catania in July; the waiter was fantastic, unobtrusively guiding us through both menu and wine list to some... More

I tried pasta with sea fruit and it was delicious. The surrounding is amazing since on the balcony you're sitting right next to the Duomo. The waiter was attentive and nice, I would have preferred he replied to me in Italian since I was also talking in Italian.

I was in Catania for business and this is the place the two local Italians took me for dinner. It's at the top of their list of places to go. We started with the seafood soup. It's not really soup. It was a lot of muscles and clams in a sauce with some bread. It was really good and the... More

Since last time I had dinner there, service has decreased. Bottle of water was served already opened and order took more time than other times.

The food was tasty, and the service was good. The menu items didn't stray too far from food you would see on a typical Sicilian restaurant. Overall everyone(except one person) in our group of seven were pleased with their meal. So...it's good, but not memorably good.

I came back in this restaurant after many years, and I have to say that it was always very very good. The atmosphere in this big room like an old cavern is perfect, and the food also. It is not expensive, and it is almost in the city centre, just at the beginning of the main street (via Etnea), in... More

We visited here on for our last lunch in Sicily before our flight home. There were no outside tables laid out and so we nearly didn't stop here but the restaurant had good reviews in our guide book and had a reasonably priced set lunch including a glass of wine. The restaurant wasn't busy apart from a party of tourists... More

I was there with my family of four. They immediately offered our youngest a high chair which was a plus. Their antipasti were good but nothing extraordinary. There was nothing wrong with the mains either. It's a huge, in my opinion, not very atmospheric place and in one corner they had the TV on showing sports and news.

We arrived late after travelling that day; we were all a bit tired. The restaurants as in most of Italy stays open really late, so no issues with the service. It was our first restaurant in Sicily; we tried a wide range of their dishes. Most of them were to our liking, and we had a very pleasant meal. The... More
