Breath of fresh air (and food)

Most of sicilian restaurants are good, as the average quality in typical food restaurants is high. What i liked about cutilisci was most of all the innovation of the menu without giving up it's Sicilian origin. I had the piatto del giorno (quinoa with rice, apples and fetta cheese) and my husband... read more

The place is nice, the food is good and the service quick but I was charged for something I didn't consumed with the argument that it was standard in Italy when I know it isn't . Just because I'm a tourist in your country it doesn't give you the right to robbed me. I was disappointed and don't recommend this... More

Dear Consumer, if you have had any problem with the bill we are really sorry but we are ready to explain everything you have consumed. Have you checked your bill with the manager? I'm sure he would have helped you and explained to you what you paid for. Probably you're referring to the "coperto 2€": in most italian restaurants you... More

This pizzeria has been one of my favourites for a long time. I enjoyed coming by the San Giovanni Licuti small fisherman harbour and have a pizza while looking at the boats floating in the dark waters of the lava bay. Why an average rating then? Cause this has been like this for the best part of the last 10... More

We had lunch here. Nice terrace, good number of tables under the trees. Nice service. And great food. We had Tris di campagna, and spaghetti con pesto (which was with fish).

we ate here after a few drinks at another place in Catania. Order taking is via handheld device and is very efficient. We all ate pizza which was rather good though the toppings were slightly different to what we're used to (not classical). All in all it was enjoyable and I would recommend it if you're in the area.

This little place in Catania was a pleasant surprise. It's located in a small piazza, overlooking a small marina with fishing boats and nice view over the sea. We were impressed by the options offered in the menu, not at all a traditional place but quite an innovative one. Been there few times for both lunch and dinner and each... More

The quality of ingredients is very nice, them are very fresh and good. The chef propose nice plates , rivisitation of tipical sicilian food and also international dish, nice served. Probably they make the most good pizza I ever eat, also made with particular flour as the old sicilian flour (timilia's flour). Anything you will take will be good! The... More

We found this place on accident and I thank my lucky stars. Every time my heart desires a pizza that makes me see God I go to Cutilisci....and they have not failed me yet. Cozy inside and out with a harbor view. Great beers I have been told because I am not a beer drinker. I concentrate on the pizza... More

Great location overlooking the old harbour. Emphasis on bio/ethical food, locally sourced. Good choice including unusual pizzas with a range of types of multi-grain bases; they looked good and although we didn't try one we got some of the basic base as part of the bread selection and it was excellent. We had the crispy sardines (translated in the English... More
