All my friends had highly recommended this restaurant and so I went with high expectations. We wanted to sit outside but they said they could only give us a table inside (by the kitchen swinging doors that kept banging on my chair) because everything else was reserved. I can understand that, but by the time we were finished, half the... More

It's was our last night in Sicily and the receptionist at the hotel recommended the restaurant. We were glad as we had just arrived and had no chance to explore the city. We arrived at the restaurant and the terrace looked empty, but around the corner were more tables and one free. We were seated and enjoyed a great dinner.... More

We had reserved a nice table on the terrace which was great. the service was also great and so was the food! The only down part was that it was a bit expensive compared to the other restaurants we did in Catania

I came here first ages ago and every time I return to Catania I drop by, and I have never been disappointed. Great antipasti (try the octopus sweet sour-agro dolce), huge variety, pasta is fantastic (I always have the almond pesto and the tortelli with squid ink), mains are great as well, always very fresh fish. Great service, Salvo the... More

We followed the Lonely Planet recommendation and went there today for lunch. As a starter we shared the large marinated seafood, which was more or less tasteless. Some shrimps, chopped red tuna, kind of seaweed etc. , everything fresh, but tasteless. We tried to improve it by adding salt, pepper and olive oil, something we never had to do before... More

A well-known and repeatedly recommended restaurant by the locals, but it does not live up to it. Every thing was about average in taste and presentation, and the fish and seafood were not overtly fresh, though not stale. The seating is tight, the service minimal, and the price above average. For the same amount of money, one can eat next... More

Situated right off the fish market, we were not disappointed at the freshness of the fish. Possibly it was slightly overpriced compared to other places we had tried in the area. But it is definitely recommendable.

Going round in the oldest part of Catania, walking between spanish corners and barocco's typical buildings you will find this restaurant. Just in the same place that every morning is full of peoples, fishes, colors, crowd...life. The fish is fresh, and the atmosphere is very typical. The entrance plates are very good as the spaghetti with sea rices. Here you... More

Just like everyone has already written.... what a fantastic little restaurant! This is a very cosy place, fish cannot be fresher (it comes from the market on the doorstep), wine choice is great and you can drink fantastic wine for a small price (which is typically Italian). We very much enjoyed our antipasti starters... a whole vitrine full of different... More
