We ate at Trattoria Gino in mid September 2014. This restaurant was number one in Lonely Planet and highly rated in Trip Advisor. That is impossible to understand. The owner or whoever served us was the rudest and most hostile person we encountered in 7 weeks of traveling in Italy. We went to the restaurant for lunch and when we... More

The food is delicious, you will be amongst Italians that have lunch here (as we did). The antipasta is very good. Gino will serve you a plate full and you will enjoy! Pastas were fantastic. Although Gino is not very cheap, the experience and the food is worth the money.

We have on our 6 days in Oristano visit this restaurant twice after recommendatio from our hotel. Very nice and serviceminden staff helped us choose some typical food of Sardinia. The food was tasty and good on both occasions, and we were very pleased at both of our visits. We felt that it was affordable and would love to visit... More

One of about 2 restaurants in Oristano open on a Monday night, late September... a nice surprise: simple, tasty food, decent wine. Tiny place with friendly service. Probably the cheapest bill of our sardinian trip. Why not!?

Went at lunchtime.Had very good buffet as first course. The restaurant is quite small & was full on our visit. We had 3 courses & we enjoyed each.Service charge is added to the bill which didnt happen at any other restaurants on our 11 day visit to Sardinia. The only problem we had was we coudn't get the bill without repeatedly asking.

A nice restaurant with good food. Good prices. Don't forget to order potatoes and mixed salata or ask what you get. We got a fish, just a fish thats all. But after a while also potatoes. The mullet were perfect.

This restaurant is well located in the center of Oristano. It is small and atmosphere is familiar. I tried it a few times and I have been disappointed all times. Food is just not good. It seems crazy for such a small place, but they seem not to care about quality. I suggest to try other places in the area.... More
