Traditional Sardinian food in cosy environment

This is the kind of place I was hoping to find when I decided to come to Sardinia. Cosy atmosphere and great traditional food. The two waitresses were wonderful - very friendly and helpful and spoke great English. There was a wonderful amuse bouche of cream of courgette/zucchini to begin and it was delicious. I could have eaten a bowlful.... More

A family operated cozy restaurant serving typical local foods and wines. Menu is fxed and the plates served are plantiful. Even though you can select the wine from the wine list, I would recommend that you try their house wine. It is good and cheap. You should expect to eat; a charcuterie plate, couple of home made meat dishes, couple... More

Excellent range of Sardinian food and wine .well cooked....when ordering grilled meat you need to order something to go with it...that's all there is. Service is friendly and efficient. Nice culurgiones, several choices of sauces.a meal for two and a bottle of wine cost us 60 euro.

After an array of local pecorina cheeses, sausage and rustic breads, we feasted on delicious goat casserole; deep rich flavours and very tender. Lovely Sardinian wines too. One not to miss whilst in Cagliari.

This restaurant was recommended in a travel review of Sardinia for a well known UK newspaper, I noted down the name in case we cane across it during our stay in Cagliari. I'm pleased to say we did and we enjoyed one of the wonderful set menus. The antipasti and meat dishes were amazing, we were even brave enough to... More

Great Sardinian food - recommended by a trusted Italian foodie friend (aren't they all..). Had a very quiet mid-week lunch. Beautiful antipasto selection of local meats & cheeses, great mains and reasonably-priced wine. Service was attentive, friendly and efficient. Smart decor. Would definitey go back!

Pleasant restaurant and nice staff. Try the lamb chops - delicious! We would eat here again if we visit Cagliari.

We were encouraged by TripAdvisor to look for this restaurant during our stay in Cagliari. And it was a really delicious surprise! It was about 12.30 PM so not all restaurants were open and at "Sa Domu Sardu" we were the only guests. The service was excellent and as an appetizer we were offered a cauliflower cream which tasted very... More

I was referred to this place when I decide to take a break from the wonderful endless choices of seafood available in most Sardinian restaurants. I was not disappointed at all. Although being quite crowded already by 9pm, which is early by Sardinian standard, the service was good. The wine is excellent, for only at 12 euros a bottle. And... More
