Great food!

Very good food. The restaurant focuses on the traditional sardinian food and its speciality are the diner menus. Cosy atmosphere and nice staff. Recommended!

After an array of local pecorina cheeses, sausage and rustic breads, we feasted on delicious goat casserole; deep rich flavours and very tender. Lovely Sardinian wines too. One not to miss whilst in Cagliari.

This restaurant was recommended in a travel review of Sardinia for a well known UK newspaper, I noted down the name in case we cane across it during our stay in Cagliari. I'm pleased to say we did and we enjoyed one of the wonderful set menus. The antipasti and meat dishes were amazing, we were even brave enough to... More

Great Sardinian food - recommended by a trusted Italian foodie friend (aren't they all..). Had a very quiet mid-week lunch. Beautiful antipasto selection of local meats & cheeses, great mains and reasonably-priced wine. Service was attentive, friendly and efficient. Smart decor. Would definitey go back!

Pleasant restaurant and nice staff. Try the lamb chops - delicious! We would eat here again if we visit Cagliari.

We were encouraged by TripAdvisor to look for this restaurant during our stay in Cagliari. And it was a really delicious surprise! It was about 12.30 PM so not all restaurants were open and at "Sa Domu Sardu" we were the only guests. The service was excellent and as an appetizer we were offered a cauliflower cream which tasted very... More

I was referred to this place when I decide to take a break from the wonderful endless choices of seafood available in most Sardinian restaurants. I was not disappointed at all. Although being quite crowded already by 9pm, which is early by Sardinian standard, the service was good. The wine is excellent, for only at 12 euros a bottle. And... More

We had lunch here and left feeling very full and extremely satisied. My husband and i both got the menu degustazione with several (mouthwatering)starters, a first course, water, bread, coffee and a digestive drink for 25 euros. It was really, really well spent. The food was oozing with quality, you could understand that just by smelling it. Everything was freshly made... More

This restaurant was described by my Footprint Travel Guide as serving abundant portions and it uses a word like bucolic to describe it. I wonder if the writer actually ate there. The beeps I heard coming from the kitchen were telling for the microwave style kitchen. And the portions, certainly, were not abundant. The restaurant serves only meat dishes for... More

Not a typical, run-of-the-mill restaurant, the food was well presented and generally delightful. A bean soup as our starter was interesting, and though the beans were a tad tough, the flavor was delicious. While the pasta with porcini mushrooms and sausage was not to our taste, it was correctly cooked from all perspectives other than our taste sensibilities (the pasta... More
