Very insteresting place, especially for the food and ambient (I was outdoor)! The polpo alla diavola and the salmon tartare was fanstastic! The pasta was also very nice!

Dal Corsaro is an excellent choice for a special dining experience. The ambience and service is crisp without being pretentious or trendy like some restaurants close by. The chef is creative in his presention of the dishes which offer not only visual pleasure but pleasure to the taste buds as well. A unique dessert was the pecorino ice cream with... More

This is a fantastic 'fine dining' restaurant in the heart of Cagliari. They offer a 6 course tasting Menu for around €70 along with a set menu plus a limited a la carte menu. We opted for the tasting menu. Service was very slow to start, due to the restaurant being busy, taking nearly 40 minutes to get an aperitif... More

When we get to Sardinia, one of the things we hear is that this is an underrated region in Italy. I totally agree. Dal Corsaro is one great example. This is an elegant, noble restaurant, which customers are surely locals. And yet, i is fantastic. The very friendly and elegant owners, the refined waiter, everyone is there to introduce us... More

We spent 20 days in Sardinia and although we'd had some very good meals, they were all very 'ordinary'. Our meals at Dal Corsaro were anything but... The ambiance is elegant and classy; the service was friendly, helpful and detailed. The food was creative and surprising...how do they keep a liquid filling inside a light crisp casing; or a liquid... More

The pecora tartare is absolutely delicious and unusual, the primi are light and tasty, and the sardinian wine selection was nice. Great service and location. Be sure to make a reservation, especially for the restaurant itself. The bistro outside seems nice too. The decor is just ok, nothing special regarding the ambiance.

This was one of the best meals I have had in many months! The food was innovative and delicious. The amuse bouche was a salmon gravlax with olives, caper berries, liquid spinach, and a dried squid powder. It all came together beautifully in flavor and texture. The caprese salad was a smoked mozzarella with tomato gelee-again an innovative twist on a... More

This is Sardinian gourmet cooking, not that expensive either - about €15 for starters €25+ for mains. I would definately reccomend this restaurant to food lovers. The chef Stefano is really talented. His dishes are delicious and modern in both quality and presentation. There is always local produce cooked with care and time. The resturant is elegant and not pretentious, but is... More

This is an elegant family-run restaurant. The chef was the son of maitresse d' and I believe the restaurant has been in the family for more than two generations. I had a wonderful starter of hake in a soup of cavallo viola and bottarga. Sounds weird but was great. This was followed by fillet of pork cooked at 60 deg... More

there is no doubt that the young chef Stefano is an artist, the colour choices and flavours were just genius, and there was some sort of a calmness in his dishes so I asked the hostess if he's a quiet chilled man and she said hell can break lose and Stefano will just hover around slowly with a smile on...
