Considerin this to be the best restaurant in alghero, i was pleasantly surprises when the bill came. Only 150€ for a 5 course meal (we were two) and two bottles of wine. And the quality was the best we ate in sardinia. We will visit again in 2013, without a hesitation. Really very good. We had a table inside, and... More

We visited Alghero again in late May/early June this year and Andreini's had closed. I was not surprised at all as last time we visited the food was atrocious.

The visit to this restaurant was amazing! I asked for a vegetarian alternative and the chef was happy to prepare something special for me and it was absolutely delicious. My husband chose from the original menu and was also very happy with both the food and the wine. However, I do think that there is a thing called too much... More

We spent a very good dinner at Andreini restaurant, service and food quality are excellent. We started with aperitifs and you can see it will be a good time looking at the details and the refinement of the table. The place is warm and hospitable and it’s original Italian old style architecture. We started with cod fish and anemone (sea... More

Very very attentive service and lots of adventurous dishes from the kitchen, we were offered free starters courtesy of the chef, which was a nice touch. For the service alone, I'd give this dining experience a four. However on the whole, though I enjoyed my meal, I wasn't so blown away that I'd come back and pay the rather expensive... More

We had the tasting menu of six courses, each a gem. A meat option was available but we chose the fish. All were exceptional but the mildly spicy fish sausage with artichokes, and the black sausage ravioli in red mullet broth were memorable. Service was attentive. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in fine dining.

Food is good but service was slow even for Alghero. Loud music from pub in same square spoiled the ambience, although it seemed to be from the same owners (they brought cocktails from there). And they took the credit card inside the restaurant after bringing the machine to the table for the pin, what I think it is unnecessary and... More

Oh I love this restaurant- we stumbled in one night when it was raining and we didn't know what to expect- and we loved it so much that we came back twice during our stay. The food is exceptional- very creative (but not overly fancy) and ingredients are lovely. It is very reasonably priced for the quality and service. During... More

I cannot believe that this restaurant claims to have a Michelin Star. If so, Michelin have really dropped their standards! At first glance the restaurant is well furnished and cosy until the lack of air conditioning kicks in in 30 degree heat. Various rugs and bits of carpet cover the floors and some are threadbare. There was a lot of... More
