We thought we would be eating in the restaurant but were shown back out to a table in the piazza. Three pizza places vie for trade check by jowl in this area. The pizzas we had were slightly under cooked, the dough was too soft and the toppings a bit to oily for our taste. The service was pleasant enough.... More

We came across this shortly after the start of our holiday one lunch time and noticed it was very busy with Italians - we were really pleased with the quality of the pizzas also very good value. The "baby" pizza was just right for me whilst my husband had the standard pizza. After that if we were in Alghero during... More

The family business with tradition. The atmosphere is a unique mix of local people with the tourists. Enormous choice of pizza and Fiane  (pizza with flour cheakpeas). Undoubtedly the best hand-made Seadas (local dessert of sweet pastry with cheese and honey) are so delicious with melt in your mouth. I highly recommend this place at least once.

Small pizzeria on a lane near to the central 'Piazza Civica' in Alhegro (Di Claudio Amendola via Columbano) this offers a good selection of pizzas at superb value when compared to some of the other alternatives in the city. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, whilst the food was wholesome and tasty. They offer a large size, which was like... More

What a fantastic little place. The pizza is sublime and the price is unquestionably reasonable. Loved the fact they had a 'baby' pizza as it was just the right size for me. Friendly staff to boot so an all round thumbs up.

Family of 5 and ate for 25€. Tasty without frills. Staff very friendly as well. Looks like they had gluten free option but we didn't try that this time...

The friendly, smiling old man invited us to the restaurant. It turned out that his wife also worked there. They were very friendly and offered very tasty pizzas. I recommend this restaurant.

Lu Furat is a specialist pizzeria, so comparisons with restaurants offering a full menu are slightly unfair on both sides. Suffice to say we thoroughly enjoyed the food on offer here, if simple, good value pizza is indeed what you are after you can safely make your way to Lu Furat where you will be guaranteed a warm welcome. We... More

Great pizzeria. Def worth a visit. We approached the piazza to find the entrance hidden around the corner. The owner Claudio's father standing at the door. A sweet Italian man with a lovely smile greeted us in. The place is deceptive. Inside there is plenty of space and has a very modern look. The pizza is very tasty and must... More
