This place was reccomended by an Italian friend of ours and it was great. Lots of Italians eating in here which speaks for itself. Lovely food and reasonable prices. We ate here twice, could easily go 4 or 5 times a week but had to try other places. Thank god there is not one where I live, I would be... More

We had a late dinner over there and it was fresh, tasty and lovely. Eating with the locals and enjoying a welcoming sardinian ambiance. Pizza is really great and generous.

Friendly and welcoming staff and good italian atmosphere. Food was ok, but not breathtaking. The cozze marinara was very good, but spaghetti vongole and calamari fritti were only average. Good value for money

Lovely restaurant, tucked away in some arches in a side street. Only 30m off the tourist packed battlements but obviously where the people in the know go. Full of Italians which can't ever be a bad sign. Lovely lovely food, reasonably priced and a real find.

So, I have tried to convince my hubby that Italian pasta is amazing. After this very reasonably priced meal (amazing house white at 8 Euros a litre) he said it is.. End of!! Please try but book in advance :-)

If you are staying in Alghero you have to try this restaurant. Really this is the best food that I tried in Alghero. Pizzas and pastas are great!! Trust me is just wawww. There is no word that I can describe how tasty everything was in there. The only thing is that there are so many people waiting to go... More

Really enjoyed our food in this restaurant that is great value and good for both couples and families. Particular enjoyed the local gnocchi dish.

Booked this earlier today on the recommendation of an Italian waiter in Dublin whose father hails from Alghero. It did not disappoint. Simple "cucina tipica" cooked to perfection. I had a prawn cocktail. OH had "gnocchi al sardo" which were very tasty. We shared orato fish, grilled, (sea bream) served with perfect chips and grilled Mediterranean vegetables. A shared crema... Friendly, welcoming family restaurant. The standard of our meals was outstanding. Shame we didn't come across it until our final night! I was tempted to extend our visit so that we could have another meal here! We will be back!

You now this is a great place when so many locals have booked up tables to go here. Came here 3 nights in a row, the first night we narrowly managed to get a table when we arrived at 8:30 (friday) so we booked for Saturday and we were glad we did as there were a lot of people waiting... More
