Just good

Was hoping to be blown away but everything was just kind of good enough. Pasta was fresh and cooked well, beef fillet was flavorful and service was very friendly and attentive, but I kept wanting more and not getting it. It's also slightly pricier than other local restaurants, especially for... read more

Alghero in winter is really a special city. Beautiful old historic and elegant walled town. This restaurant is exactly what you would expect: high quality of fish and all kinds of food, very nice and friendly service. Particularly, you feel the attention and love of the management and staff for their work. Service Always with a typical Sardinian understatement. We... More

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, the only thing that was disappointing was the seafood risotto, don't get me wrong it wasn't bad - but with such a small menu and great reviews, we assumed everything would be outstanding - however it was average, maybe the other dishes are great? on a positive note the tiramisu and local red wine was delicious

I remember this restaurant from my teenage years and I am pleased to report that although the ownership has changed, the food and service are still outstanding. Let Giovanna guide you through the culinary delights id Sardinia. The emphasis is on fish fresh from the tank but on your second visit she will happily prepare something to order with notice.... During our days in Alghero, we took a small walk in the old streets to choose a place to have dinner. We tried a couple of trip advisor recommendations but they were full or didn't have grilled fish, so when we passed by La Lepanto, we liked the place's atmosphere and decided to get in. The interior is very intimate... More

We walked past this restaurant many times on our visits to the old town and each time looking at the lobsters happily swimming away in the tanks not knowing their fate. Eventually we stopped and ate there, we couldn't really fault it but also nothing really stood out. My wife and I both had seafood rissotto which was OK but... More

Loved the fresh fish of the day. They bring the day's catch over to your table to choose the fish you wish to have. Once it was cooked, the waiter brought the fish to our table again and very skillfully portioned and dished it out. A real treat! Starters were lovely too. Very good service and a memorable meal. After a lot of visits in Alghero this please still is one of the favorites. The Seafood is prepared to perfection and taste like heaven. The staff are very help full and make you fell welcome. Make sure to make reservation in advance before your visit in order to get a table. Specially in peak time August.

Lovely quiet atmosfere, at the other end of the city centre but enjoyed the walk through town with all the boutiques open till late, food was nice, service was great, had a few treats on the house cause of our discount from hotel, staff very friendly and helpful in giving advice on where to go around the Island.
