very good pizza

We went for dinner and we got the cheese starters and a pizza. The pizza was huge, you need to share it for sure because they make it double. Everything was very good, but the price a little high for my taste. Another but is that you do not have the choice to get a cheap beer, you need to... read more

We were only in Alghero a few days but managed a few visits to this place. The tiramisu was the best I've ever tasted and the pizzas were delish albeit some of the topping were more daring than I'm used to. Lovely warm cost atmosphere and well worth a visit. Prices good too, especially for the size of the pizza!

This restaurant just has good, affordable food and a friendly staff that will help you in Italian, English, Spanish, French, you name it! They have a romantic little terasse that is worth a visit. They even have vegetarian & vegan dishes that are indicated on the menu. Try their pizza's; just delicious!

We visited La Botteghina following Tripadvisor and a recommendation by our host. Sorry to say as we are a minority apparently, but we did not like it! :( The restaurant is easy to find in the old city of Alghero. It is quite small and popular, so better reserve. The tables are also very small and put into a cramped... More

Having eaten here a couple of weeks ago and been struck by how good the manager's recommendations were, we scarcely looked at the menu and asked her for her advice. The fish dish sounded fantastic but as my companions fancied the tagliatelle I got that too. I have eaten in quite a few restaurants in alghero and they tend to... More

we had 2 evening meals here at this small but cosy restaurant tucked away in the old city. Excellent fresh food served by 2 lovely ladies. The pizza we had the first night was enormous and we finished it off for lunch the next day. All very fresh and nicely cooked.

A cute, small restaurant, this place has a reasonably diverse menu, but is fairly expensive (local wines at €20+) for the cuisine served. Typical Sardinian fare, adequate (if somewhat slow) service. Mussels were flavorful, and plentiful in the antipasto (soup).

Loved this restaurant. Staff were smiling and welcoming from the start and the atmoshere was nice. Due to dietary restrictions I can no longer eat fish, dairy or gluten so have been eating a lot more meat. The grilled beef was by far the best piece I have tasted for as long as I can remember. This restaurant has a... More

This restaurant was recommended by the landlord of our B & B ; it is known for using locally produced food and wine. We hadn't booked but managed to get the last table in a small ,slightly cramped downstairs room. There is more seating on the upstairs terrace which overlooks the street. We saw many other people turned away so... More

Found the staff friendly, the atmosphere good and the food very good. Slightly cramped, but comfortable none the less, with tables on an outside terrace upstairs and at street level inside. Booked for a second night before leaving the first visit
