The location is nice, but the paella was terrible. The fish was not fresh and generally it was tasteless. The price was too high for the quality.

Located on the old city wall I dined here with my partner on a hot and balmy summers evening. The Mirador being in the typical style of restaurants in that area . Do have a look at the inside of the building ,, real quality and quite beautiful ,,,, In the good weather you will be seated outside ,,,and charged... More

The best i can say for this restaurant is the locality. We ordered Monk fish, and a mixed seafood pasta. Both were very average. The cost with 2glass of wine was 50 euro. Service charge was administered twice, under different names. This type of restaurant survive on locality, which is top class, but it is just tourist trade, they dont... More

Good food and a nice view. If it's crowded, just add your name to the guest list, have a glass of prosecco and hang out while you admire the ocean.

During our week long trip to Alghero, we tried a different restaurant each night. We picked this as our highlight as the general ambience, atop the sea walls looked superb. We booked a table as reservations are almost a must here. Well the food was fine, nothing amazing, but whilst I have no complaints, I am not sure it offered... More

We were looking for a nice restaurant on the promenade, and chose this one. The waiter was very friendly, but not intrusive. The location was nice, with a good view on the Capo Caccia and the coast around Mugoni Beach. We shared a pasta as a starter and then went on to eat fish. To go with the meals, we... More

Yes the location is great, watching the sun go down, but the food and service was good too. We eat in a couple of restaurants along the old ramparts and this was the best experience. We shared the paella and my main of tuna streak was amazing as was the local wine (which was true of everywhere), but the monkfish... More

First of all I think the bad reviews come from a very unlucky customer as we have had an above average experience. We were greeted by an older gentleman (manager?) who was very prompt to seat us. Service was attentive but not intrusive with a very polite waiter who could crack a joke or two. For my starter I took... More

I agree with the earlier review, off hand staff who really couldn't care less, and average but expensive food. The view is indeed great but have a drink at one of the bars further along to sea wall and find somewhere else to eat. Alghero is a fabulous place and I will return, but not to this restaurant.

We ate here one evening mainly because of an engaging young man on the door at lunch time! We got talking him to him and browsed the menu and booked a table for the evening. We weren't disappointed. Again there is the 10% surcharge for sitting outside but with the magnificent view over the coast why sit inside. Prawn salad... More
