Lovely food, shame about the waiter

My husband and I, along with 2 frIends went to this restaurant for a birthday lunch today. Our treat. Outside the restaurant is a board advertising a 25 Euro lunchtime special. When we entered the premises we were met by a tired, miserable head waiter who pointed to a table in a corner. He did not... read more

Took some friends for a birthday lunch treat after viewing their lunchtime set menu for €25. Nice little restaurant but things went downhill from there as the beautifully attired Maître De waived us to a table for four and went off. My friend went to get a chair to sit on! Return of the MD and handed the full menu... More

This is a sweet little restaurant. I really wanted to take the lunch menu (25 Euros) but I was misunderstood and got the 4 meals menu (45 Euros). We ordered one menu with the local Sardinian specialities and one with the fish specialities. This is a very clever way to taste as many plates as possible. I wasn't disappointed. Everything... Recommended by the guide book we sought out this intimate Catalan restaurant and weren't disappointed. We went for the seafood tasting menu and had wonderful personal service from the patron. Each of the three fish courses were a delight - an initial plate of small morsels with 5 types of fish, the main course of three types of fish, but... More

Choosing the tasting menu is probably advisable, although we were slightly disappointed with the Sardinian choice it had limited foods compare to the Fisherman's choice.

We had mixed seafood antipasti which were superbly cooked and well presented. I then had two toned pasta(how did they do that) which was delicious and my husband said that his barracuda pasta was the best pasta if our two week holiday! Unfortunately my grilled octopus was a bit too hard for me, probably overcooked, which didn't please the owner... More

We read about this restaurant in Lonely Planet & thought it sounded great... When we arrived, it was empty. We were asked if we'd booked and we hadn't...then a big show was made of asking if there was any room! The table settings were lovely and the restaurant is quaint and very compact, but there are 2 levels of setting.... More

Dear Sirs, First of all, from the 5th to the 8th of June there is in Alghero, near the harbour area, the FIA World Rally Championship... 99% of tourists and local people are there to ''live'' the event, not only for sport itself, but also because of music, fireworks, food etc... We are exactly on the other side of the... More

Everything was prepared to perfection: clean tastes and great ingredients. For prime I got hand-made gluten free pasta, which was like no gluten free pasta I had had before! Amazing tuna: crispy on the surface and bloody inside, just the way I like it! The vegetables I had were just the correct texture and so very tasty. Their limone gelato... More

We walked by the restaurant and stopped because there was another couple checking out the menu outside. As we hadn't made any dinner plans we decided to be spontaneous and just go in as well. After a short confusion whether to wait downstairs or go up we were greeted and brought to our table. The style of the restaurant is... More
