Sleek location for a superb cuisine...from traditional food, just reinvented, to sushi and sashimi. It's a wonderful experience through tastes and flavours!! Highly recommended.

Visited this place based on a recommendation/review on Trip Advisor. The restaurant is unassuming from the outside. Almost missed it if not for the map apps on my iPhone. Its close to the Palazzio Virgilio hotel and the train station. Food is great for those who barely see Japanese cuisine in this part of the world. A bit pricey but... More

Very welcoming from the start, open kitchen and tables far enough apart for privacy if needed! The serving staff were lovely and the chef/owner, made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. Baccala' in a parsley and ginger sauce covered in wild black rice. California rolls, with warm salmon inside. Then duck with a zucchini puree and grilled tuna with almond... More

The entrance is unassuming but once inside it opens up to an old and beautifully renovated and spacious dining hall. The food is very good, service is great. The place is highly professional and the cake dessert was amazing. I asked and the owners wife makes them. I felt like moving to Italy after having that cake...

My favourite Japanese restaurant, I never miss it whenever I cani, the food is authentic and excellent. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. The menu is BIG, so some people who don't know much about Japanese food,it can be very confusing!!! Just don't hesitate to ask the owner and the waiters, all of them are well-learned, they will assist you with... More

By far the best restaurant in Brindisi. Excellent food, extremely good, efficient and personal service. The sushi is fresh and very well presented. Other local restaurateurs could learn a great deal from Hara.

Delicious fresh sushi and homemade cakes to die for! Even if you are not a big fan of sushi there is plenty to choose from on the menu. Particularly impressive selection of very fresh fish. We recommend the Hara's menu which will give lots of little tasters. Great atmosphere and excellent service. We definitely will be back!

Hara, for me, is the best restaurant in Brindisi. The combination of food's quality and very friendly staff makes this restaurant perfect. Excellent fresh fish, raw or cooked, Japanese cuisine (sushi - sashimi) or traditional cuisine and a great selection of local wines and beers also. You can order individual dishes or take a dive pleased with the menu of... More

A group of us UN professionals were in Brindisi to conduct interviews of prospective UN peacekeeping candidates. As a nice break, my colleague, Guillermo, who is half Italian brought us for dinner to this delightful restaurant serving Italian fusion cuisine -- Squid Ink and Wild Rice Risotto, lobster and all sorts of fascinating dishes. I didn't know what I was... More
