We sat outside and all the tables were full. Wonderful first course of carpaccio of three different fish, one portion large enough to share between two. Enjoyed fresh pasta with creamy zucchini sauce and smoked bacon lardons. Excellent bottle of Puglian wine. Friendly service and reasonable price.

Have visited this restaurant twice and have been totally satisfied on both occasions. There is a lovely selection of dishes, including fish, which are extremely flavoursome. The desserts are equally superb. The restaurant is slightly more expensive than others in the locality however portion sizes for both mains and desserts are very generous therefore worth the extra. Service is very... More

Located on a busy square in the old city, it was fun to watch the crowds passing by while enjoying terrific food. 4 of us shared several different appetizers, pastas and main courses and enjoyed every bite. We even ended up buying our ceeramic wine cups to take home as souvenirs

My co-workers chose this as a fall-back solution for a business dinner and they booked a banquet dinner. The food was great, the quantities huge, and (particularly since we were travelling from Scandinavia) the price was very low. The Scandinavians loved the seafood and the Italians in the group said this was like a local wedding feast. We were all... More

Have been here in Novembre 2012 with some friend that had an advise about the palce from a local journalist. The advise was good, the place has a nice atmospher but what matters the most is the food, tipically local with that extra touch, excellent. Do not miss the "antipati", let them decide, they depend on the season (wich is... More

The location is great, in a lovely square in the old town, there are a few bars and restaurants in the square, but not overcrowded. The food was excellent, we do not eat meat but the seafood and vegetarian dishes are wonderful.

I had the hand-made orecchiette pasta with pesto. Fantastic! My boyfriend had---gulp!---the horse. As much as I hate to admit it, it was excellent. (Sorry, Trigger!)

This restaurant is on the edge of an attractive and lively square in Bari's old town, just a stone's throw from the sea. The food was good and the local specialities are represented on the pleasingly concise menu. However the tone for the evening was set by the attitude of the staff on our arrival; although we'd booked by internet,... More
