You are greeted like an old friend, and ensconced in a lace-curtained large room that feels, somehow, like a dining room in a family home. Delicious local breads are brought out along with great local olive oil. Your salads are enormous, tasty, and big enough for a meal. Add local homemade orcichetta pasta, and a complimentary small sweet --- along... More

We were kindly welcomed in this quaint restaurant with nice pictures and a few nice old posters on the wall. People are friendly and the food is taken from the rich tradition of the region. Cheeses are delicate and tasty, the meat is well treated and seasoned, the traditional tastes (soups, vegetables, ''bur rata'') are offered as appetisers…and you would... More

Amazing authentic food using the freshest local ingredients. Plenty of vegetarian and fish choices. Also have meat dishes. Place is bright, clean and fun. Located in a quiet residential area of Bari, it has to sought out. But the visit will be well rewarded. Great bottle of white wine was only 8.50 Euros. Outstanding value for excellent service and food.... More

This wonderful place prides itself on serving only local and seasonal produce, so the menu changes accordingly. There's something for everyone - seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes. It helps if you speak Italian, so they can explain what's on offer. If you don't, just trust them; they love what they do and are rightly proud of their work. From antipasti... More

This restaurant really has the name it should have: it's kitchen represents the soul (Anima) of the Terra (land) of Puglia. All fresh ingredients, mostly local produce and many 'forgotten' ingredients (ancient kinds of vegetables). Traditional recipes, but 'revisited'. Not particularly cheap, but definitely worth it.

I stayed four days in Bari and this was the restaurant I liked most. You need to know how to read and screen Tripadvisor reviews to find it or you find it in another guide you trust or you just bumb into it while strolling around. For me it was a combination of these three methods. It is in quite... More

We stayed 7 nights in Bari and ate in some 10 restaurants but the Terranima was the best. The place gives a real feeling of being received in a family place. My wive and I ordered all different dishes and due to my lack of knowing the language I cant tell really what we ate but it was all excellent. An... More

We liked this restaurant so much we went back for another round. The menu is short, but the dishes are delicious, although it is only in Italian, the staff is helpful to understand it, and the prices are completely reasonable.

Thoroughly enjoyable meal with good selection of local dishes. On Monday night they unfortunately didn't have fish-dish options (markets being closed the day before). However we all enjoyed our choices and the own label wine is a pleasant drink and excellent value. Friendly service, give this place a try if you find yourself in Bari one evening!
