If you find yourself in Bari for some reason, then this is the place to go to. The lack of a menu obviously gave myself the scares for a minute - but after the complimentary Easter starter; the seafood platter and the sea urchin pasta; then you know you won't mind paying a premium. I find myself hard to find... More

Outstanding Raw Fish Antipasto.... Ricci galore with Mussels Oysters and all sorts of oddities. Raw baby Squid and Octopus...Just melted in the mouth. Ricci Pasta was Outstanding. The Photo is of the Octopus which I can honestly say was one of the best plates I have eaten in my life. Wine list...is incredible. Ate at lunch...one other Table...Service was 3... More

I was in Bari for work and dined here with a colleague. We ordered the mixed raw fish platter with ricci, scampi, red Gallipoli prawns, allievi (kind of raw kid octopus) and squid; we shared a portion of spaghetti with ricci and a sort of grilled octopus that was crispy outside and tender as butter inside. You have to be... More

Been there with my families and was not impressed at all. The foods was very average and very expensive. 3 person we spend 250 Euro for sharing most of the courses.Imaging if we will to have our own individual dish! Services was good!

Delicious fresh modern seafood. Well worth it and even if the price point is slightly higher than normal it is worth every penny! Amazing service and lobster fettuccine to die for :)

Bacco was a highlight of my recent trip to Italy. The freshest seafood I ate in Puglia with excellent wines. This appears to be a somewhat serious, traditional restaurant, but don't be put off, the service is excellent and the manager is eager to show you the best of Puglian food and wine.

Puglia has many places that serve fresh fish grilled competently and others that offer good fresh pasta and pizzas. We found a few that made a more creative effort but mostly with limited success. Bacco was a very welcome exception. The rather ordinary entrance gives no clue of the very serious cooking to be enjoyed inside. The owner clearly takes... More

We found ourselves in Bari en route to a trip through Pugla. Bari is a somewhat industrial city and it was not obvious to us where we might spend a memorable evening. But Trip Advisor came to the rescue with the ratings for Ristorante Bacco, which is right in the center of Bari. Coming through a heavy door, we were... More
