Outstanding, cozy and refined atmosphere, impeccable service make restaurant La Muraya an absolute reference point in Bari. In La Muraya all the authentic flavors of the local cuisine are worthy home space. The welcome and hospitality that the staff, led expertly by the owner Nino renowned for its "turn" the tables to make sure that everything goes well, next in search of ingredients kilometer zero and first choice are just a few of the strengths of La Muraya. Especially appreciated are the dishes of fish (the famous "ravioli" with squid ink and "spaghetti alla chitarra" with sauce of cicadas Greek) fixed menu and daily specials (which vary depending on the raw materials available).

Excellent food great value

You can go wrong in this restaurant and the service was excellent. Land and sea appetizer is a great starter. We were a party of five and each tried a different pasta, all were excellent! But the one with the lemon sauce was amazing (we order am extra portion) good wine at reasonable prices... read more

La Muraya was near to my hotel, so when I saw the restaurant, I wanted to try. I'm vegetarian so options were limited. I had to eat pasta. At the end, didn't like it.

This restaurant is ranked among the top 20 restaurants in Bari so we definitely wanted to try it out. In a nutshell: "local wine" was pointless, food was tasteless compared to the other excellent restaurants we tried in Bari (for the same price). We really had the feeling that this restaurant is a tourist trap ... Too bad as it... More

Went for lunch after visiting nearby old town. They had an English menu and the owner directed us to some lovely food. The skid ink pasta with clams and mussels was the best I have ever had. The fish dishes were fine however next time I would stick to the seafood pastas. The local Puglia white wine as recommended by... More

And this is what this place is, from beginning to end. No frills but great food and great environment. The owner, Nino, keeps coming round and guiding you in what to take. Take his advice, as it is good advice and don't worry about prices, they are good too. My wife and I shared a crudo seaplatter and we started... More

This came recommended through a friend from Bari and it lived up to it. It was right across from our hotel, very close to the port and old town. We had a starter of fish and seafood carpaccio followed by fresh pasta with lobster for me and fava beans with squid ink pasts, with two glasses of wine, a local... More

La Muraya was recommended to us by our hotel. There was a bit of a language barrier so we weren't exactly sure of what we were ordering however we were told it was all food typical of the Puglia region. We had a number of excellent appetizers - burrata cheese, fresh seafood (tuna, salmon, shrimp, octopus), polenta with baby octopus... More
