Pleasant meal

This restaurant is well run and the food pretty good. I started with excellent grilled sardines followed by a tasty wild mushrooms soup. The duck that followed was rather bland however. Good local wine. Efficient and friendly service The decor is simple but nice.

This is a pleasant restaurant with friendly staff. On our recent visit, we shared a chestnut flour tagliatelle (mushroom/bacon) sauce, duck breast with a potato side and a salad. The pasta was quite nice, though a fairly small portion, the duck breast a bit flat and served lukewarm and the salad uninspired. Nice wine though, a cab from Treviso region,... More

Serves traditional Italian food with a Veneto flavour. Went there a couple of times and would go there again. Good service. Great view of one of Palladio's buildings, Palazzo Porto Breganze.

I have been at this restaurants with a couple of friends. The location itself is okay. The food is excellent and they have a great variety of phantastic wines. The staff is extremely friendly and just perfect in all terms. Prices are high, considering the rather small portions. All in all I would recommend to visit this restaurant.

We actually went here twice while we were in Vicenze. Once with just three people, and another time with 9. Food and service were both good, and the location was excellent. Very easy to find for the first time visitor and located in an area where we all felt safe going for a walk after dinner.

Booked a table (Saturday night) Beautiful late summer evening. We requested a table outside, we were told to come early (reservation for 8pm) to be seated outside. Arrived at 7:30 were seated right away at a nice corner table. The two antipasti baccala mantecato with grilled polenta and zucchini flowers stuffed with baccala were great. Wine recommendation also good. One... More

This restaurant seems to be family run and the food is as sincere as the wait staff & owner. The home made pastas and deserts were incredible and very authentic. I recommend this restaurant highly but it is small so go early to get a table.

We visited this restaurant twice and were impressed both times. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. The big pasta with ragu was excellent as was the asparagus lasagna. Then the corn biscuits with custard and desert wine were a lovely finish. Next time the baccala-filled zucchini flowers were tasty as was the gnocchi with duck ragu. The atmosphere of... More

Our guide told us that this was one of the best restaurants in Vicenza and I can only agree. Excellent service, first-class food and fine wines. On a warm Summer evening you can sit outside. Inside, room can be a bit noisy when there are many people. Try one of the local dishes, e.g. a dessert made from mais and... More

I just loved the variety and the quality of this truly Italian restaurant. I was very happy to go back night after night. It was within walking distance of the Campomarzio hotel, the staff was absolutely lovely and the food was excellent value.
