Dinner in a "madhouse"

We didn't want to sit at an outdoor table; it was too cool out. There were no tables available in the dining room, but they offered to take us to another room downstairs. The place was full of people upstairs and down, the noise level was high and the waiters kept running up and down, in and out... read more

In the evening it was hard to get a table - the pizza was very good and also the dessert was worth the try. Staff really friendly! But (maybe due to the location) a little expensive/overpriced.

We decided to walk downtown today, to see how the Christmas markets are coming along. While there, I remembered that an Italian friend had recommended this place, noting they served "the best pizza in Vicenza." He was right as far as I know - but there was so much more! First the location - perfect - just off the main... More

The Angolo Palladio is a nice restaurant&pizzeria to go for in Vicenza down-town area. It's best for dining outside, weather permitting, because the setting is very unique and prestigious-right next to great Architect Andrea Palladio's Statue and near his masterpiece, the Basilica Palladiana. Nevertheless, the service is very attentive and helpful and the food very good also. Mind to reserve... More

This is a busy restaurant with several outdoor tables. We had a pizza and pasta dish to share and both were really good. Had a lovely chilled bottle of wine and the service was fine. Prices were okay and it's a good place to sit and watch the world go by!

Looking for somewhere to have lunch in Vicenza we settled on this place right next to the Piazza del Signori. The Pizzas we ordered were genuinely tasty and good value. My wife had a straightforward margarita but it was far from ordinary - the tomatoes were to die for! I had the onion and prawn pizza which turned out to... More

some friends brought me here for lunch. the restaurant is very characteristic, the service is great and the food is delicious. we had some prosciutto from the Berici region, steak tartare (prepared in 3 different versions), and we thought that everything was absolutely delicious. strongly recommended.

Good food, nice atmosphere, friendly Staff and correct prices. We had a great time. The owner acted like a rooster in a hen's house, which was a bit disturbing.

This restaurant gives pizza a different approach. i had the vegetarian pizza. It was truly wonderful, with a topping of fresh seasonal vegetables. My eating partner, had the ham pizza, the ham was of a very good qualityThe pizza crust was thin, and cooked to perfection. Also the house wine served by the 1/4 or 1/2 litre was excellent value,... If you are not Italian, good luck in this place. They made us wait 20 minutes for our menus, 45 minutes for hour food, 30 minutes for our check. They told my friend that he was to fat for the meal he ask for. The waiter told him that he need it a bigger plate for he's size. The food... More
