Lovely restaurant, excellent primi

Everything we had was good, but the pasta dishes stood out as being especially excellent. The truffle gnocchi were the standout, shaped as 2" flying saucers filled with truffle, absolutely amazing. Rather short wine list, but fairly priced; we loved our 30-ish euro bottle of pinot nero from... read more

A friend and I dined here on a Thursday evening and both agreed this experience ranked in the Top 3 of all our meals in Vicenza. We recently moved here and have eaten at about a dozen restaurants in the Vicenza area. The staff made us feel extremely welcomed as soon as we walked in the door and our waitress... More

Rather short wine list, but fairly priced; we loved our 30-ish euro bottle of pinot nero from Sudtirol. (Waitress: "I have absolutely no doubts about this wine." Well stated.)... More

We were not planning on going here but as a nearby restaurant rad closed we ended up having a really fantastic delicious meal here. Brilliant service, the waiter spoke good English and tried his best to help and accommodate us, the chef made special dishes just for us. The menu has everything clearly marked with potential allergens including lactose, milk,... More

I visited this restaurant about 3 years ago and it was excellent. We had friends in town and wanted to treat them to a good meal. What an embarrassment! It was awful! My antipasti (vegetable patties on polenta with a cream sauce - described differently on the menu) was not even edible and I returned it. They did not take... More

There're several recommended restaurants on the Lonely Planet. The one that I wanted to try the most was full. So I had to turn to this one. When travel I always want to try something "local" in a "local restaurant", preferably with a touch of historical sense. So this restaurant is a little bit too modern for me at the... More

This restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants in Vicenza. It is quaint and romantic. It is recommended you have reservations, or you probably won't get a seat. The menu is different every night. Every dish is phenominal and an explosion of flavor! I haven't been disappointed yet!

The first two courses of gnocchi and a crepe with cheese, pears and honey were phenomenal. The main courses consisting of sea bass and kangaroo were average, although pricey. The pork with berry sauce looked appetizing. Didn't try that one so can't actually judge on taste. Portions were good and staff was very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was nice. Pretty... More

Great food and a more formal setting. On the expensive side but worth the money for a special occasion.

Old setting in the historic part of Vicenza, yet very trendy in the food department and the presentation and table settings. You get immersed in the ecological direction of the owners and the love of modern art. Warm bread in paper bags, barley instead of rice, excellent Tiramisu, everything was excellent, beautifully plated and served with smiles. For a group of... More
