Beautiful restuarant, loved the atmosphere and the service was impeccable. The food was great- the truffle tortellini was the absolute stand out dish, I'm still dreaming about it!

The food was good. The interior was had a nice eclectic charm about it, but it was too hot to enjoy a nice dinner. The staff was attentive. It was strange that they did not open our bottle of wine at the table. Overall was slightly disappointed with the experience considering its Michelin star restaurant.

We ate here because it is handy for where we were staying and it had been closed on our previous visit to Verona. Started not too well when they tried to put us inside on a hot night despite two empty tables outside. Inside is pretty and has air con, but terrible musak. We ordered the fish tasting menu and... We took friends to the Fontanina ten years after our first visit and were delighted to have just as enjoyable an evening as the first. Other friends, to whom we have recommended this restaurant a place to spend an evening between operas, have reported excellent experiences but it's not a place to visit if you need to be at the... Experience was rushed... Food was okay. I would not recommend this place. We like great food and excellent service. This place was very cute but we felt rushed and oversold on mediocre food. We ate at much more authentic and delicious restaurants in Verona. Avoid this restaurant and stay in the other side of the bridge. 180 EU for crap!

Great restaurant with quirky furnishings - feels like a wonderful junk shop. Interesting twists on Italian cuisine, some with cryptic names. Expensive, but memorable and therefore good value overall.

Following reading some bad reviews we hesitantly booked a table in La Fontanina, but it didn't disappoint. We had a stunning 4 course meal, every dish of which was remarkable. It was expensive, but I would eat there again on a return to Verona.

My colleagues and I had dinner last week and I must say we all experienced behaviour of owners that hit a new low. We were served a very expensive wine that was clearly corked (and we were sure as we represent these wines in our home market). Ownership was insistent the wine was good when we knew it was bad.... One of the best restaurants which I have ever eaten in. Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere in quirky surroundings and charming staff. Main courses of this quality at 25 Euros have to be the greatest bargain in a Michelin starred restaurant.
