Loved every bit of it!

I was very excited about going to La Fontanina so the chance to be disappointed was quite high. But I absolutely loved the place. The food was amazing (my pasta with black truffles was small - started size - but to die for). The wine list was unbelievably long - a very important point for my... read more

Top night was had here. Very good food, long and excellent wine list, and slightly bonkers surroundings ( a mixture of Aladin's cave and a wine cellar). Pricier than a trattoria, but food was so good that it was worth it. Very friendly and informative staff too

This is not your average 'fine-dining' establishment. It is quirky (borderline weird) and needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. The service is not warm and friendly, but it is efficient. The wine glasses and bulky and colourful - something to get used to! The food, however, was great, and that is after all what makes or breaks... More

The menu here was a delight , small creative dishes prepared with care and fresh ingredients , pasta cooked al dente ,fresh truffles, meat dishes slow roasted to perfection, desserts made with passion and creativeness, a pleasure to the eye and tastebuds. Simply said a gem of a restaurant . Thank you to the team at Osteria la Fontanina "This is... More

all tables were empty when we arrived so we asked to be seated outside as it was a lovely day. waitress said they don't recommend it as the food will go cold - i think this is for customers to decide. lovely atmosphere and decor, food was not bad but definitely not worth the price. menu prices indicated on their... I was in Verona for a business trip and we didn't know where to go for dinner. It is difficult in a such of beautiful city like Verona is to decide where to go because the majority of restaurant look nice but my attention has been caught by La Fontanina "bizarre" interior design so I booked for 3. We spent... More

Beautiful restuarant, loved the atmosphere and the service was impeccable. The food was great- the truffle tortellini was the absolute stand out dish, I'm still dreaming about it!

The food was good. The interior was had a nice eclectic charm about it, but it was too hot to enjoy a nice dinner. The staff was attentive. It was strange that they did not open our bottle of wine at the table. Overall was slightly disappointed with the experience considering its Michelin star restaurant.

We ate here because it is handy for where we were staying and it had been closed on our previous visit to Verona. Started not too well when they tried to put us inside on a hot night despite two empty tables outside. Inside is pretty and has air con, but terrible musak. We ordered the fish tasting menu and... We took friends to the Fontanina ten years after our first visit and were delighted to have just as enjoyable an evening as the first. Other friends, to whom we have recommended this restaurant a place to spend an evening between operas, have reported excellent experiences but it's not a place to visit if you need to be at the...
