Family of 4 (kids 8 and 10) ate dinner at this restaurant, located on a quiet street very near the Adige. Incredible selection of prosciutto and cheese, paired with fantastic wines of the Veneto. Kids loved the prosciutto and pasta, we would happily return on another trip to Verona.

Have eaten here 4 times for lunch and never been disappointed. It's out of the way and off the tourist track so you don't get overpriced fast food but high quality cooking. We have eaten out under the arches where you catch a breeze on hot days or inside in the trendy modern restaurant. The cured hams with melon or... More

We found this palce whilst walking in town. They have a great selection of ham. Food is really good and service is also very good. Highly recommended. We loved the real carbonara pasta, the ravioli and the peach tiramisu...

Tried here as we were fed up with the same risotto/pasta/pizza and traditional menus. Shared a starter of ham, cheeses, breads and pickle which was lovely. OH had filet steak in Amarone and I had chicken breast wrapped in speck. It was supposed to be in a curry sauce, not very curry (ish) and not much sauce. Steak was as requested... More

We had two evening meals at Il Banco on our recent trip to Verona. Having studied the interesting menu we decided to try three primi to share between the two of us, as we love pasta. The choice was excellent, the staff friendly, the pasta was great and the wine was lovely. However, when we returned the second night the... More

Not just prosciutto, but primi, secondi... It sits in a quiet street close to the river, offers outdoor and indoor seating. We started with a large Tagliere split among two. I had tagliatelle with lamb meat sauce and my girlfriend had big gnocchi balls with a parsley pesto sauce. We both left with a smile on our faces.

Went here last night on a local friend's recommendation and it was just perfect. The owner welcomed us (uncharacteristic of Italians) and we sat at the bar. He was friendly and helpful and gave us plenty of recommendations on what to eat and drink, never choosing anything pricey and letting us sample lots of freebies along the way. By far... More

Billed as a 'prosciutteria con cucina' one can choose from a reasonable selection of sliced meats but for this meal we went with pasta dishes and a selection of cheeses with mostarde. Very well cooked and delicious, the ravioli with asparagus and finely diced speck was delightfully presented. Not overly abundant- maybe five large ravioli, topped with two pieces of... More

This restaurant, just off the Piazzetta Pescheria is wonderful. The main event is the cured ham in all its glorious incarnations. The service was just so warm and friendly! And the food! My appetizer was a plate of white asparagus, hard boiled egg and prosciutto. You know a restaurant that cares where the yolk of the egg is closer to... More

For a restaurant called Prosciutteria you expect to have exceptional cold cuts, especially because Italian ones are so famous. Well, that is exactly the main problem of this restaurant: a large variety of prosciutto cotto, or crudo, or speck, but none of them as good as they would like to be. Nothing, nothing exceptional. Seriously, the little grocery store next... More
