Stay at the terrace for a 100% experience

We had been recommended this restaurant by the accommodation we were staying at. The menu is very good with some wonderful traditional dishes. It was reasonably priced for the quality of the food. We arrived along the terrace with a stunning view of the river, alot of the tables here were full and we could see the amazing food being... More

Tigelle (small flat hard buns) and Gnochi Fritti (large airy pastry) with mixed meats, vegetarian plate or cheeses with a variety of sauces make for a fun evening to share and relax with friends and family. Friday and Saturday, and groups = reservations required.

One of the best settings in town, right on the river. From the outside this looked a small establishment, but when we went to pay the bill, we realised that it had lots of tables inside. Its speciality dish was very interesting - a series of dips to be eaten with tigella.

To start of with, we were seated in a small narrow room at the back of the restaurant, which seemed to be the path everyone was taking to get to a bar downstairs. Hence, the atmosphere was somewhat flat. Service was extremely bad. On a not particularly busy night we were waiting so long to have our plates cleared away... More

The restaurant is located on one of Verona's main streets. It has two entrances, one to the more formal dinning by the street and the other to the terrace by the river. We got to the restaurant early afternoon almost at closing, but the waiter was kind enough to serve us. The food was delicious, plenty and well served. The... More

I had no idea what to expect as this was the first dinner of my multi-city Italy trip, but I was pleasantly surprised with a creative assortment of meats, spreads, and tagella (sort of like a mix between flatbread and english muffins). The waiter wasn't sure how to say some things in english but he did his best and explained... More

Tigella are small flatbreads served with an assortment of toppings. Since I didn't read Italian, I wasn't sure what all the items were, so it was an adventure to put a little dab of something on the bread and then try to guess what the flavor was. Some of the cheeses were obvious, and the fish pastes, but the grated... More

We (three of us) ate lunch here one sunny day al fresco. Tigella are flat, small English muffins, served with 12 accompaniments (tomato, olive cream, mushroom cream, garlic aioli, etc. Great fun to dip in the sauces and compare. Dessert, which is included in this lunch, was gnoccho, which are almost like big puffy doughnuts, served with sauces (Nutella, etc.).... More
