We went to this restaurant after reading a newspaper's list of best cheap restaurants. It is located several blocks away from the Arena and a nice find as you walk pass hoards of people in packed restaurants and people standing around waiting to get a table. This restaurant is quiet along a small side street. The owners are very friendly... More

A group of twenty of us reserved this small Osteria in April. It was raining but the atmosphere inside was festive for the whole evening. The owners joined in the fun and singing with the ten teenage girls that were with us. The food was fresh, great and exactly what we ordered. The owners could not have been more efficient, helpful... Yesterday we searched out this little restaurant and had a lovely lunch, with good wine and bonhomie, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist traps. We had a plate of local sliced meats with bread to start, then my wife had the mixed mushrooms with polenta bread while I had the stinco - the ham hock - roasted... More

in all fairness, the ambiance was ok, owners quite friendly, but the bottom line is that we did not enjoy the food at all.

We found this little restaurant down a little alley way, after checking trip advisor reviews thought that this would be a good place to have a quiet evening meal after walking all day around Verona's churches and attractions. There was no one else in the restaurant but thought as its hidden away that maybe the reason. The owner and his... More

I happened to visit their restaurant in the little street of Verona. The owners accepted me very warmfully. I tasted delicious wine and prosciutto. Their vegetable soup was also very nice. I enjoyed their meal and the talk with them.

The whole family enjoyed a great lunch, and at good prices on the food and wine. Also, the owners were so sweet with some tired hungry kids. Our new must eat place now for Verona.

This is a lovely little place run by a wonderful man and his family. Really local cuisine, try the polenta with all sorts of toppings and a very reasonable wine list. What it is best for is cheeses and curead meats - best value for prosciutto. Definitely pay it a visit especially in the summer when it gets busier. We... More
