The food was very good and not too expensive, but the man that seemed to be one of the owners was very friendly to us, even though he didnt have any English.

Off the beaten track, but actually very close to Castelvecchio. A most original and delicious selection of food, cooked right in front of us. Just what we needed for lunch.

We found this restaurant after looking down streets near Castellvecchio. With a bit of a languages barrier we found the photo album of the dishes really helpful in making our choices. The service was quick and the food was very tasty. My partner had mushroom and polenta and cleared the plate though he commented that there was a little bit... More

With so many restaurants to choose from, it was a fortunate coincidence that my family discovered Enocibus on our last night in Verona. A family business, the couple running Enocibus are lovely people, very attentive and willing to give recommendations for food and drink. The atmosphere was great and as our food arrived, we all remarked that it was like... More

A great place for a pitstop while roaming the streets of Verona... just a couple of minutes walk from the Arena. Genuine Italian cuisine with a good choice of wine on offer. We had a super selection of meats and cheeses, and enjoyed great plates of pasta. Loved it !!

Located on a side street off the Corso Cavour, this family owned and run restaurant should not be missed. Claudio and T artfully prepare all the items on the menu by hand, and are happy to recommend wine to enhance their offerings. The Tuna Carpaccio was the best I have ever had; it melted on my tongue. The Stinco (braised... More

We went to this restaurant after reading a newspaper's list of best cheap restaurants. It is located several blocks away from the Arena and a nice find as you walk pass hoards of people in packed restaurants and people standing around waiting to get a table. This restaurant is quiet along a small side street. The owners are very friendly... More

A group of twenty of us reserved this small Osteria in April. It was raining but the atmosphere inside was festive for the whole evening. The owners joined in the fun and singing with the ten teenage girls that were with us. The food was fresh, great and exactly what we ordered. The owners could not have been more efficient, helpful... Yesterday we searched out this little restaurant and had a lovely lunch, with good wine and bonhomie, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist traps. We had a plate of local sliced meats with bread to start, then my wife had the mixed mushrooms with polenta bread while I had the stinco - the ham hock - roasted... More

in all fairness, the ambiance was ok, owners quite friendly, but the bottom line is that we did not enjoy the food at all.
