Without a Reservation, we just walked in. They were full and the both employes very busy, but after a drink at the bar we suddenly found two plates with the finest vegan food in front of us. They just served us everything, it was delicious, perfect! Thank you very much for this great experience!

Whilst on the touristic track happened to bump into this small locale of attractive decor and promising menu. Went for mixed fruit & vegies drink served in chemist's lab utensiles and minced meat rise and porridge topped with parmeggiano and sweet pumpkin. Amazing dishes both of them. Was so impressed that I also went for the vegan cake and pear/chocolate... More

My husband and I randomly stumbled upon Retro Bar after taking photos of the Duomo. It had a few chalk boards outside advertising vegetarian and vegan food that caught my eye (I am a vegetarian and really struggle finding interesting vegetarian food In Italy). The restaurant is really quirky with antique tables and chairs. There is no main light, so... More

We spent a nice evening in a familiar atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and kind. Various choice of gluten free and vegetarian dishes. The open kitchen let you see how the food is made, which is very important. Fantastic Place!

This is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. They offer both Italian and English menus with vegan options clearly labelled. They also have a range of gluten free options. My partner and i ate here twice during our stay in Verona. The meals are unique, fresh and super tasty. The vegan carrot and pear cake was delicious! The lady who works there speaks... More

Stumbled across this little gem when visiting the Duomo opposite. Perfect for a light lunch away from the pizzas and pastas. I had a delicious ham and mushroom pannini whilst my wife tucked into a very tasty veggie burger. We washed these down with freshly squeezed juices - a concoction of celery, apple, lemon and ginger served in a chemical... More

I was dreading taking my son to Italy as I thought feeding him would be a nightmare seeing as he can't eat wheat. However we found this place by accident after visiting the cathedral. Every hotel should know about this place and let people know that you can eat wheat free, veggy, vegan etc. in Verona. This place had a... More

We stopped by for a coffee at the Retro after visiting the Duomo last week, then returned for dinner and agree with previous comments about the great choice of vegan, veggie and non-veggie food. The food was great, reasonably priced and the service was friendly. The restaurant is decorated in a vintage style and is a great stop-off for coffee... More

Stopped here for lunch and was very impressed. A lovely location and beautiful inside too with a quirky feel with its vintage furnishings. The menu was varied with a great range of veggie, vegan and meat dishes. Service was excellent also. Would absolutely recommend this place.
