It was suggested to us that we book this trattoria for Christmas lunch and we were so pleased that we did. It is in a picture perfect spot. The food was very good and the staff were delightful. A special day of year and a special menu was provided for our lunchand we enjoyed each of the four curses for... More

The place was recommended by our accommodation, and my wife and I decided to have our dinner there. We were seated inside with a nice view of the river. We had Piato del bacan de lusso, La sporta di fata Matilde, Pastisada de caval, and a bottle of red wine. The food was pretty tasty and the portions were quite... More

If you have read our reviews, a full 5 of 5 is unheard of. For this small restaurant on the side of the Adige River under the shadow of the ancient Teatro romano di Verona (built in first century) you might need a reservation - the food, service and view ARE that good. Recommended by Rossana the hostess at our... More

Visited as a family group including a small child. This a pleasant location high above the Adige with a narrow outside terrace and a small shady terrace at the side. This has no view but gave good shelter from the hot sun that day. The river view terrace only has tables for two and was very sunny the day we... More

A good restaurant - but also pricier than those nearby. We got excellent and quick service, and they didn't mind us practicing our rookie Italian. Our choices were wine and salad, with a laaaarge dessert. You will find plenty of courses, however, ninety present sea food. Restrooms were clean; we had view over the river and enjoyed ourselves.

We had a really lovely meal here before the opera. Gianluca was a wonderful host, the paella was delicious and the campari and orange on crushed ice as an aperitivo was perfect for a hot evening. We recommended friends here and they also felt the same. Buon appetito!

This restaurant is not to be missed. Sat right alongside the river with a varied menu and excellent service, it's a real find. Particularly good are the tasting menus, which allow for a variety of tastes of local food, all with excellent value. Staff are attentive and friendly and there's an excellent inside seating area with amazing views. Do not... More

Very nice location and river view. However, food not so good. Unsalted risotto, regular pasta. Cod with polenta was the only one good. 100 euro for 3 adults, 2 kids, with house wine.

We had dinner at this restaurant after it was warmly recommended to us by the lovely lady running the B&B we stayed at in Verona. We were glad we had made a reservation because on the night we went there it was fully booked. We absolutely loved the friendly atmosphere, the friendly and attentive service and the beautiful location, overlooking... More
