Excellent location overlooking the river. Attentive service, good menu choice . . . .clams and spaghetti was the day's special . . . Delicious.

During our last visit to Verona, we accidentally wandered into this restaurant and we ate really well. Now we wanted to repeat, and it really paid off. We got a table without a reservation for lunch in the shade; it's this time of year a success. We ordered something that seemed interesting on the menu - "La sporta di fata... More

We ate here on a Monday night, and got a table without booking at 8pm, but there were many reservations, and by 9pm it was full. The menu was mostly but not exclusively fish, and our set menu was very good. The waiters were very friendly and helpful too. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, with a mix of locals... More

We've found the place by ocassion. Took a table on the street. One of the chairs was absolutely wet, dispate +30 degrees and sun. The the waiter appeared and without any excuses and expected in such case politeness started pushing us off, as the table was too big for two. There were no tables for two, so he immediately made... I've been there two times for a lunch and dinner. It's better to come at day time since it has the windows with a view to the river. Menu is so-so. Service's quality probably depends of staff's shift. surprising they are so popular in the evening and booking in advance is almost obligatory. Let's say it's a good price/quality ratio... More

In the heart of Verona near the Adige river you can find this restaurant. Not a "touristic" one, but a perfect place to taste real Verona food. I had the "menù degustazione": simply wonderful. The wine list is also satisfying, without hundred of wines but a well-done choice. Will eat there again for sure! note: if you want an amazing... More

We had a great dinner with friends, great view on the Adige river, it was the surprise and top of our dinner, it was the best fish soup I have recently had and I definitely recommend it - La Pigrona! So was the seafood pasta!!! Fantastic, melts in your mouth! The oysters were tasty!! However, do not try the horse... More

We were just walking around Verona when we found ourselves hungry and in front of this restaurant. I can't believe how lucky we were! This was the best food we've ever had! We when there in May, 2011, and we still speak of it as "the best food we've ever had". It was so great that we couldn't stop eating... More

Dinner for three was excellent. Very friendly staff who made us very welcome. Very popular with Veronese. The fish soup is great, and the pasta made freshly that evening. About €120 for three with wine. Strongly recommended.

If you sit outdoor, you'll have a great view of Teatro Romano and the river. Good service and wonderful seafood.
