After reading the reviews, we knew we had to see this place for ourselves. It did not disappoint. Not only was the food and wine delicious, but the service was friendly and the trattoria itself was beautiful (if you can, sit in the cave!), making it an all-around enjoyable Italian experience! The waiters were eager to explain the Italian-only menu,... More

Quiet location away from the tourists in central Verona. Great beef and local wine served in a friendly atmosphere.

This restaurant is within easy strolling distance up a quiet road leading to the older part of the village. The owner and staff are welcoming, speak good English; they are happy to explain the menus and make sensible recommendations. The food was really good, and very drinkable wine was available by the carafe. We stuck to starter and pasta, although... More

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The owners / chefs are very passionate about their food, and region, the Valpolicella. The menu was explained in great detail, and suggestions made. Be sure to ask about the cave. We enjoyed it so much we went twice. We can't say enough.

This is in Parona about 20 mins from Verona. It was amazing, the decor was lovely and the waiter translated the whole menu into English for us. The food was top quality we had the starters special of the house - delightful. The price was very good to about 30 euros each for a 3 course meal with wine and superb... More

I can only echo the previous positive reviews. This restaurant was one of the highlights of our 3 week trip to Italy. The food superb, the ambiance great and the prices reasonable. The attention we received as customers was exceptional and we enjoyed meeting the owner . I highly recommed this restaurant.

The quality of food at this trattoria is second to none! I have never tasted tomatoes as fresh as this and the steak we were served was absolutely stunning. The food is just bursting with flavour and the entire dining experience is great because the interior of the restaurant is so lovely.

Great service, excellent food, good prices. I had the bistecca alla fiorentina here last night and it could not have been better. The service was also perfect, which is not something to be taken for granted in Italy. Highly recommended.

Tal Taio was recommended to us by Elena of Bagolina B&B. We liked it so much that we went a second time. The owner-operator, Davide was extremely friendly and generous with the wine.

This restaurant, on the outskirts of Verona, is a good, all-purpose venue, equally welcoming to families celebrating a special event, or wandering tourists. The ambience is pleasant and dignified without being overwhelming, and the emphasis is on the foods and cooking of the locality. Be warned, however: portions are ample, and two courses will probably be too much for you.... More
