Passed this on several occasions and always busy : Decided to pop in and what a great decision. Beautiful wine and bread in a small but atmospheric setting. A must visit whilst in Verona

we had lunch here and were really astonished how good the food was. Fairly no tourists and just locals... well what does that tell us? you can have pasta, cold cut plates, cheese selectiones... veeeeery good wines...if you come here after dark you just could have a glass of wine and watch the passer bys... just a very authentic and... It is busy and you have to be persistent to be noticed by the bar staff. Excellent house wines at a good price. Food looked good as well.

A bit crowded, but friendly with perfect tasty food and vine. Must to be visited. As it's really small be ready to share table with strangers. Visited it twice and both times it was fine.

We were two persons and had two half bottles of amarone, a big meat and a big cheese plate.(2006 and 2005) Very good atmosphere, music not too loud and lots of young people. Friendly personell, only having wine of their own brand, but the brand is really good with local wine varieties to choose from. The food is really good.... More

We found this little wine bar by the crowds of people outside its doors, and we could see why, excellent local wine from their own vineyard, fantastic food tapas style and service which was out of this world, Thanks Paulo and Ricky

Gorgeous little wine bar that's great value for money. Myself and three friends stumbled across it after dinner and spent much longer than we had planned inside. The wine is incredibly reasonably priced - a small glass of house white will set you back two euros, and I had a very smooth glass of red for 3.50. There are little... More

Had a lovely lunch here - great selection of tapas, squid salad, pasta, parma, foccacia with tomatoes - lots to choose from but make sure you don't arrive too late as they had run out of quite a few things by 2pm. Delicious red wines on offer and the house white was excellent. Seats are at a premium but just... More

Dear Dorothy, Thank you for taking time to write about us. I was sorry to hear that we had run out of quite a few menu items. This should not happen even though it is difficult to manage always having extremely fresh and quality produce. I am sure that our staff were courteous but I still apologise for this lapse... More

After strolling past several places in bustling Verona we noticed this small osteria run by a leading Valpo producer. Their own wines - we're talking Buglioni here - have good taste and reputation, the Osteria seemed kind of a 'brand restaurant' and we left with a positive vibe: the salad and roast beef with red onions in agrodolce were simple... Dear Japser, Thank you for your review. You are correct in that our Osteria chain ( 4 currently ) is there to promote our wines, in an atmosphere suitable for enjoying a great wine. Shortly we will be extending our locations as we enter into a franchise offering of this model. Thank you again for your time. Mark More

A very welcoming wine bar with excellent food. The wine choices from the local area are magical, ranging from "standard" price house white and red wines through to top quality Amerones. Take the meat dishes to accompany the wine and enjoy the high tables in the centre of Verona.
