We had a 3 course meal and we had great starters, delicious small bread with filling. The tortellinis with pesto were amazing, the main course were a bit boring, but all over good real italian food. The surroundings are very cosy and we were so lucky that we could take a look at their old wine cellar.

First night in Verona and had such high hopes of this restaurant ,but alas it was not to be ,i dont mind paying a good price for a good meal but £180 euros for the 2 of us was having my trousers right down , we had wanted proper Italian eating and the menu was all in Italian but the... More

Located right off the main square, it is tucked away up an alley so it can be hard to find. We went for lunch and sat outside. You wouldn't know you were in a busy neighborhood. Had half bottle of wine for 8€ and ordered the lasagne and an Insalada caprese. There was so much food and presentation was gorgeous.... More

We visited this restaurant by recomandations, and was absolutely satisfied with the visit. The wine cellar is a MUST to see, both for the special circumstances in the cellar, but also for the wine assortment. As we sat down, we saw that the menues was only in italian, so there came a waiter to explain to us. This however was... More

I had the tasting menu, five courses. It was perfect, and I mean perfect! There was Alamo ragú that was sublime. The service was seamless. I had two waiters who were outstanding, and each could have been father and son on account of their ages, Stefano and Vladimir. Each course was better than the last, but nothing matched the ragú.... This restaurant was recommended by an Italian friend as a must do, so we went for lunch. The service was excellent, the food was good, though pricey. It was a dark heavy atmosphere with a handful of tables occupied by American tourists. On this beautiful day in Verona where many restaurants with outdoor tables were bustling with activity, the vibe... More

The tasting menu with matched wine. Outstanding. As was Stefano our waiter. Decor is magic and you MUST ask to go downstairs and see the Roman remains beneath the restaurant. In our top 10 of all time meals.

This place has an absolutely stunning interior done in classy Italian style. The basement is an old excavation of Roman ruins in conjunction wit heir wine cellar. This is over 20' below grade. Very cool! The food in general is very good although a couple of choices were just, o.k. Recommended

We ate dinner here. It was a surprise to see tables of tourists marching through the restaurant to see the cellars and the excavations, having said that we also wen with the ownert after our meal and the roman remains are amazing...the food however was not quite what we expected. for starters melon and scampi good, risotto historic, for a... This is a tourist place. it is attractive and some of the food is good, but this is not the place to go for a gourmet experience, a romantic experience or a Verona experience. The restaurant seems to cater to large groups, which it manages to feed and march through the restaurant en route to tours of the wine cellar.... More
