We were recommended this restuarant by our hotel (Grand Verona) as I wanted somewhere special for my girlfriends Birthday. So glad i went with there choice as the food was brilliant as was the wine. I also proposed to my now fiance after dinner. I let the waiter know before hand who organised complimentary champagne which was a really nice... More

Lovely restaurant. Great food. Fabulous wine and aperol spritzers. Bit pricy but worth it. Fantastic location. Staff good when you get their attention...so busy they could do with more waiters

As this was the first meal of our vacation, we were anxious to get in the spirit of the trip. Our waiter got the ball rolling by presenting us with complimentary wine and a special starter--gnocchi with black truffles. Wow! We loved it! What a way to start our trip...the food, the ambiance, and the service were all spot on!

Beautiful position, lovely shade, incredibly professional staff and food that was beyond words made this one of the best lunches we have ever eaten. We had the fish tasting menu and two types of Soave which are a gazillion miles from the tasteless slop that bears that noble wine's name in the UK. Absolute magic and a complementary amazon grappa... More

We went to Caffe Dante as a recomendation from a local person - and it was a great choice - we sat outside, the weather was wonderful, the food looked great and tasted great and we had a very nice waiter. Besides teh location is great and so is the view of "Piazza Dante" . All the family loved their... More

Nice food, lovely decorated. Staff was also good and attentive. The atmosphere was very romantic. But it is a bit pricey, especially if you decide to go for a wine.

Caffe Dante, is not in the main tourist drag of the city, but on a very beautiful less frquented square. It is a stylish restaurant with very good service and food, but I have to agree with one of the other contibulors, make sure to tell your waiter how you would like your meat cooked. They don't ask, and it comes... More

Verona does have many restaurants that cater for mass tourism. Not this one. Everything here is a bittle more stylish than elsewhere: The reception of the guests, the complimentary glass of wine on arrival, the proper tablecloths, etc. Also the percentage of local customers is very high, which sais a lot. I ordered the set "Truffle" menu at EUR 60.--.... More

Found this by accident - make sure you go there on purpose. Food was excellent, only complaint on my part was too much truffle but that is a little bit unfair as it was the truffle tasting menu! The desert was not appealing but the beef on the truffle tasting menu was to die for. They could not have been... More

We ate here as a party of 14 on the night before our daughter's wedding. The location within the square is superb even on an evening interspersed with lightning and torrential rain. We sat outside but the awnings kept everyone perfectly dry (apart from the waiting staff). Our starters were grilled prawns and melon and ham. Prawns were excellent as... More
