Nice food, lovely decorated. Staff was also good and attentive. The atmosphere was very romantic. But it is a bit pricey, especially if you decide to go for a wine.

Caffe Dante, is not in the main tourist drag of the city, but on a very beautiful less frquented square. It is a stylish restaurant with very good service and food, but I have to agree with one of the other contibulors, make sure to tell your waiter how you would like your meat cooked. They don't ask, and it comes... More

Verona does have many restaurants that cater for mass tourism. Not this one. Everything here is a bittle more stylish than elsewhere: The reception of the guests, the complimentary glass of wine on arrival, the proper tablecloths, etc. Also the percentage of local customers is very high, which sais a lot. I ordered the set "Truffle" menu at EUR 60.--.... More

Found this by accident - make sure you go there on purpose. Food was excellent, only complaint on my part was too much truffle but that is a little bit unfair as it was the truffle tasting menu! The desert was not appealing but the beef on the truffle tasting menu was to die for. They could not have been... More

We ate here as a party of 14 on the night before our daughter's wedding. The location within the square is superb even on an evening interspersed with lightning and torrential rain. We sat outside but the awnings kept everyone perfectly dry (apart from the waiting staff). Our starters were grilled prawns and melon and ham. Prawns were excellent as... More

Dined here with 9 friends, July 2014 before AIDA. We met with the manager a few minutes before our guests arrived, and ordered al la cart, at their suggestion. We were not disappointed. Party started with a complimentary prosecco, and two dishes, a pasta and entree. Vino de tavola was good. As were the martinis!! We dined al freso, at... More

The best part of our dinner was the courtyard and watching families be together. There was a pianist playing the evening we went which was quite nice. The food was very good but a little expensive. We were fine with the prices but the waiter was quite stuffy and not very helpful. Maybe he didn't understand English very well but... More

We went here with a pre paid tour so out expectations were not that high. The food and service was fantastic! Great atmosphere with a great patio

My wife and I recently had dinner here, having booked through our hotel, and had a fabulosu experience. On arrival, as a decent table in the courtyard wasn't yet ready, the maitre d' set us up with some cushions on the steps of the building next door, with a nice glass of cold prosecco while one became available, and we... What a fantastic surprise. My family and I arrived as the owner and staff were setting up the tables outside and they organised (on the house) a glass of rose whilst we waited. Super quality pasta starters; ridiculously good steak with truffles as a main course; yummy tiramisu. Superb bottle of tuscan wine. Owner was charming throughout and spent time... More
