My husband and I have had the pleasure of eating here for the last two nights. The cheese filled pasta was my favorite but all of the food was delicious. The wine was equally wonderful. The tiramisu was a very nice treat. Leonardo was very accommodating. On the second night I again wanted the cheese pasta but wanted to try... More

Leonardo the owner runs an amazing restaurant and has lovingly refurbished it offering the highest quality italian food and wine with impeccable service. Although everything was superb the particular stand out dish for both of us was the home made pasta with Guinea fowl (although the menu in English stated pheasant). The restaurant is hidden away in a residential area... More

We went to Dal Gal twice in our 3 days in Verona (which tells you how much we loved it!). We went for a Sunday lunch and were told it was full, but since we were staying less than a mile away we were able to come back a bit later when things had quietened down. If you're staying further... More

We were 3 adults and 2 kids. Outstanding place; price/value very high. Although it is not in downtown, if you have a car you must go. I got the 5 dishes sample which was terrific, 1 beef very well prepared for the kids, great pasta, dessert, etc. Great service and a English speaking waitress. Must go place.

A very friendly restaurant where the staff have a passion for their food and service, and are not simply there for the pay check. We ate here twice - the second time necessitating a detour - as the food here is quite simply fabulous. Wine recommendations were spot on, and I don't ever recall having a better experience at a... If you don't mind taking a taxi ride 15 minutes out of the historical town this is the place to go for a great meal at a very affordable price. The restaurant is understated but elegant even though people coming for dinner on a week day are fairly casual. But forget about the decor. this is a family restaurant where... More

I had dinner here with my family in October 2013. This place is known for the primi piatti hence, we all ordered the Degustazione di Primi Piatti, 5 types of pasta with different sauces. The first one was really good, rice with radicchio and tastasal (both ingredients typical of Veneto cuisine), then they served crepes, two types, gnocchi and bigoli.... More
