Italy's oldest caffe from year 1720 and is beautiful placed in the heart of Veniz by the cafedrel St. Markus ! Sit down there and enjoy an expensive caffe and snacks or may be the speciality of Veniz, a cold drink like Spritz ! The caffe is a must place to visit when you are in Veniz !

On recommendation we went to Florian's and were really pleased that we had. It was early December and the acqua alta was in full flow so the square was relatively quiet and so we were able to get a table inside very easily. Before going you really need to read the cafe's historical backdrop - the people who have been... More

Even though this coffee shop is solipsistic to Venice and yes, every famous person who has ever visited the city, has had a drink here. far be it for me to heap encomiums on this, one of the world's most famous cafes. Its inundated, overpriced but ever so special, that one should not miss it. The coffee, chocolate, wines and... More

Italians know how to drink & serve coffee best. I couldn't do without 3-5 servings of Italian Espresso, daily. It's part of the daily life there. They really know how to live life & indulge. This place had an unforgettable ambiance.

I only made it once, unfortunately. I paid 9 Euros for a cappuccino. Considering I sat outside and that they also sell history and a great view, that is understandable. However, the coffee itself wasn't great. Perhaps I will give it another chance on my next visit to Venice - that time I will have a whole meal.

I was dragged in here by my friend, who insisted that he wanted a €20 coffee! I was initially reluctant, but in the end decided that for a one-off it was okay. Actually it turned out better than I expected. Instead of being outrageously expensive, it was just very expensive - he had a coffee at nine euros, and I... More

I should say, one must visit Caffe Florian when in Venice. I went there in a cold afternoon in November, got a table in front of the violinist, ambiance is just wonderful.. with the surrounding of Piazza San Marco. It's definitely the only cafe/restaurant you wanna visit in that area. So my friend and I tried to beat the chill... More

The magic of St. Mark's Piazza is taking the time to truly feast your eyes and partake in all the sites and festivities surrounding you. Florian's Ristorante is but one of the few restaurants in the quadrangle that is St. Marks Piazza. It is incorporated into the building facing the Grand Canal and when you gaze into the windows you'll... More
