A must!

Lovely place to watch the world go by and enjoy all that St. Mark's Square has to offer. Although the coffee isn't cheap it is good and the atmosphere inside Florian's is great. It is a must place to see while in Venice.

Great location on St Mark's square. Lovely table service, all on classic silver trays. Expresso coffee is one on the best you will find in Venice. Try the cakes or meringues, soak up the vibe. Pay and go....it's not cheap but enjoy the experience of Italian coffe on the square in a wonderful city.

This place is so grand, we ate here and the service was brilliant, you feel very spolit just walking through the door. We ordered tea, mint chocolate and toasted sandwiches which were lovely. Come on a silver tray with all silver cultery. A touch expensive but worth a visit on your travels in Venice. Would go back again. On a... More

We went for the first time to Venice in March 2015. An Italian friend suggested us to go to Cafe Florian and to have a coffee ideally on the San Marco square itself. We did it and we found it a fantastic experience. Its not cheap at all, but everything we asked for was amazingly tasty. What was really bad... More

It's expensive, it's has a 6 euro cover charge for the live music ... and it's absolutely worth it . The Sacher torte , the hot chocolate and the irish coffee are wonderful.. but that not the point. Sitting there in the late afternoon , right in the centre of probably the most famous square in the world listening to... More

Visiting Cafe Florian was on my bucket list whilst visiting Venice, the cafe's interior is simply stunning feels like you are sitting in an historic art gallery. Expensive but worth it, Cappuccino was very good.

If in Venice and after having explored this fantastic city, it is a must to spend some time at Cafe Florian. The Breafast is delicious, for Lunch, even so a limited Menu whatever they serve is presented with taste. The Lasagna must be one of the best I ever had. The afternoon tea, is may be the most exquisite you... More

We went to this caffe because it is in the centre and appeared busy, we anticipated spending a bit more money because of the location and we wanted to do the tourist thing! Well....they took ages to come and serve us. Then I ordered a prosecco which came out in a dirty glass. A pizza which I can only describe... More

I knew what to expect - high prices and 6 euro/person only for the music but I wanted to do it! I think it is a must in Venice. The music was divine and the coffee and the service was very good!

Forget about the money here. You should simply sit and enjoy the experience. It was one of the first coffee house ever. And I am not speaking of the first Starbucks in Italy... Here coffee has its origin. If you are a budget travel no worries, just go to the bar and ask for an espresso standing. The prize in... More
