Great spot for a drink at night. Ordered the house red wine and was good. The area is next to a lot of other bars and next to the canal so area is deal and buzzing with people.

Stopped for a coffee and was so impressed with the menu and service, we went back for lunch. Food was excellent, fresh and made with quality ingredients and the wine list great. The staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgable. Would definitely good back.

The draw for Al Pesador is it's location. It is right on the Grand Canal and the tables, chairs, linens and lanterns are all pretty and make for a charming place to sit and eat and people watch. Service was unbelievably slow, and all the courses came at the same time. The food was average, and we couldn't try as... More

near the fish market and Rialto Bridge. however you could not see the bridge and occasionally you could smell the canal especially when a boat passed and you had a whiff of diesel fumes. Also unless you really like chewy fish which tastes very fishy do not order cuddle fish! My mistake. The other 3 in our party had a... More

A great location for a bottle of wine, some delicious light food and to watch the Grand Canal world go by. We enjoyed a bottle of Cabernet for €25 accompanied by some scallops and light pasta dishes. Especially good are the 'Spritz' drinks (orange/red) that you'll see people drinking about the place. Made with Prosecco, Soda and either Campari or... More

Good place to stop for a Bellini and to sample the cicchetti (small, individual servings - like tapas). The cichhetti can be ordered in either 6 or 12 pieces. Unless you are very familiar with all the offerings, I suggest going inside to the bar where you can see all the cicchetti on display and asking the bar man to... More

Went to this place after reading the reviews. I just didn't like the place. We sat inside by the little counter, the place was hot as hell inside and the food was not good. Got the octopus which just had some olive oil and salt sprinkled over it. Since the food is on display on the counter, pretty much all... More

We came to this place by accident- headed to the location next door- which was too loud. We're really glad because this food was excellent, there was a lot to watch and the location was fabulous. This was our first meal in Italy and it surpassed expectation.

We wanted somewhere cool and different to eat on our last night in Venice and we were getting a bit over the generic Italian resturants.Al Pesador was fanstastic The location was great the service fanstastic and the food just perfect. We choose this restuarant purely on account of its location and menu and because it looked different and a little... More
