Service varies so much on this small island so it was nice to be warmly received at this restaurant while looking for a suitable eatery for me, my wife and 8 year old daughter. An excellent location situated yards from the striking Rialto bridge and with tables overlooking the grand canal made this an overall enjoyable event. This was topped... More

In 2010, the visit to Al Pesador was the most magical experience of our trip to Venice. We vowed to return. In August this year our itinerary was tight and we only had one night so booked a table. It rained. The magic of the place is sitting outside so we cancelled the table. We went for lunch the day... More

Having heard so much about Cuttlefish with Ink, I decided to give this location a try. The setting was beautiful...... dinner by the side of the grand canal (No view of the Rialto but there were Gondolas near by) and a cool evening. We settled in and ordered our main course since we just had a small snack not too... More

We were intent on recreating a previous visit to Venice, and dinner by the Rialto Bridge was on the wish list! Al Pesador is a no pasta, no pizza restaurant! We began with an appretivo of Prosecco with Campari for me and peach (Balleni) for the man. This just set the atmosphere for us. Soon enough the fresh tuna cappiciao... More

Our first night in Venice we found ourselves here early evening. At that point it wasn't too busy, the tables were now shaded and we were thirsty. We sat outside where you can watch gondolas lazily float by and dusk enter the city. My husband and I ordered a bottle of wine, which washed jet lag aside and welcomed us... More

My husband and I stumbled on this restaurant and after reviewing the menu, had high expectations. We have never been more disappointed. The food was mediocre at best - beef tartar tasted was bland, octopus salad wasn't seasoned, veal was overcooked. The service staff only came to our table to deliver our meals, never checking in if we needed a... More

On our first night in Venice we could not have asked for a better dinner spot. The food was out of this world, the cuttlefish I will highly recommend, the service was excellent and the venue superb!

The restaurant is in a beautiful spot on the canalside, especially cosy at sunset. We had just some wine and Aperol-Spritz with some snacks (provided to the drinks free). The price is normal in Venice, the waiters were nice, and the mood was very nice. You can just sit down for a nice relaxing between the attractions:)

Very nice place. We only had some wine and sat and people watched canal side. The staff was very friendly and we asked about where to get a meal they did not have on their menu they found us a restaurant that did have it and gave us directions to it.
