We found this restaurant before arriving in Venice as the food and location sounded amazing, we were not disappointed! As we had rushed round Venice trying to find this little delight, we were looking forward to a nice crisp glass of wine, we were served up with a gorgeous Italian Soave or 20 euros a bottle, which is fairly reasonable... Fantastic food, great wine list with knowledgeable staff who take great care. Extremely compact, but well worth the squeeze. We booked earlier in the day walking past, but worth booking further in advance.

This charming small restaurant in a quiet neighborhood of Venice serves particularly delicious seafood. The candlelight and the little flower arrangements make it an ideal date place.

This little gem will not disappoint you. Plan ahead. Get a reservation. Give yourself a few extra minutes to find this intimate little osteria (though honestly it's not as hard to get around Venice now as in the pre-Google/iPhone maps days when dinosaurs roamed San Marcos Square and it was de rigueur to get lost in Venice ). We understand... More

This is a lovely small restaurant in a quieter area of Venice. The food is quite simple but delicious and you can tell that the chef uses the freshest ingredients. The menu is based on what's available at the market so changes on a daily basis but unfortunately this means that they don't serve fish on a Monday as the Pescaria... This little eatery is on the route between San Barnaba and the Accademia bridge. Offers indoor and outdoor eating, with four tables beside a low wall adjoining a small canal, ideal for placing the bread and wine. Offers typical Italian fare, but some more adventurous dishes such as a platter of mixed seafood pieces. Reasonable price, friendly service, nice location

Over the course of a week's holiday in Venice we enjoyed two wonderful meals at this restaurant. Sitting outside, next to the canal we enjoyed the lively atmosphere, the friendly service and, most of all, the delicious and authentic Italian food. Highly recommended and very reasonable (in a City where neither is often the case !).

Ai Artisiti came highly recommended by Gigi at Locanda Orseolo and we were not disappointed. We were so happy in fact that on our last night in Venice we came back to gorge on mussels and razor clams only to find them gone from the menu. Yes - the menu is based on the daily market and we were not... More

not commercial, very charming are the two slogans that come to my mind. This place has only like 8-9 tables. One waiter. Very authentic food and wine. Very, very charming - everything a dining experience in Italy should include. Definitely recommend to try for a change! The waiter knows whats up, trust his food recommendation.

After reading reviews about this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. Half the fun was trying to find it! You must have a reservation here as it is extremely small. The menu is based on what's fresh at the market and lucky for us, chanterelle mushrooms had just come in. We had this with pasta and it was... More
