i love this restaurant! The food is simple and tasty! The wines by the glass great and affordable! And the small staff attentive and helpful. I love this restaurant so much that I've taken the train from Milano just to have lunch here!

Read about this place in 3 different sources, including the rave reviews on Tripadvisor. Walked by at 7:15 pm on a cold January evening and we're happily surprised to find a couple of their few tables free. The staff was as welcoming and helpful as one could hope for. The atmosphere was cozy and friendly. And the food...bravo! We had... More

We revisited Ai Artisti this year having enjoyed it a lot on our last visit to Venice. It remains, in our view, a top choice. It's not cheap but in Venice nothing good is; it is, however, brilliant value. Further the restaurant is open handed with much offered 'over and above' the ordered meal. Final thought is that the wine... More

We were not disappointed when we visited this restaurant 16/01/15. We phoned ahead to book a table for 5.(you do need to book). Although I was surprised by the size of the choice on the menu - 3-4 items per course. The quality and flavours of the food we were served was excellent. The service was attentive but not overly... When we were in Venice in September we were recommended this restaurant by our host...it looked expensive but the waiter guided us through a lovely 3 course meal with suggested local wines, we loved the Custoza and l seek it out in the UK . The waiter it seemed had a knack for pricing us just right as there were... More

That time was the first time I visited Venice...and this restaurant was recommended by a local people from whom we used his boat to go across the river of Venice...I had various pasta with various seafoods...I was amazed with the taste as usually my Asian tongue is difficult to adapt with any kind of seafood that comes from outside of... Here we had an amazing meal with lovely seafood. The cod, soft shelled crab and scallops were stand outs. Having Italian hosts with us helped with the staff but they were friendly regardless.

We made a reservation and walked in the rain to eat here based on previous reviews. We had a fun night but the dining experience wasn't as good as we expected. The place is small and very attractive, with the tables squeezed so closely together that we chatted with our neighbors. We both got fish and it was well cooked... More

The reviews all looked good and it was recommended by the Novecento Hotel - but it was a bit disappointing after all that. A pleasant and cosy establishment but the service was unremarkable. The starter of clams and mussels was absolutely delicious but the second and third fish courses were not particularly special. Maybe it was an off night, but... More

Great wine, wonderful pasta and sea food. Couple of meat options but seafood is the star of the show here Very small menu so don't go if you tend to be picky with food. Extremely small wine bar with only a few tables so advance booking is recommended. It had a real family feel and romantic intimate atmosphere. Not the... More
