This little eatery is on the route between San Barnaba and the Accademia bridge. Offers indoor and outdoor eating, with four tables beside a low wall adjoining a small canal, ideal for placing the bread and wine. Offers typical Italian fare, but some more adventurous dishes such as a platter of mixed seafood pieces. Reasonable price, friendly service, nice location

Ai Artisiti came highly recommended by Gigi at Locanda Orseolo and we were not disappointed. We were so happy in fact that on our last night in Venice we came back to gorge on mussels and razor clams only to find them gone from the menu. Yes - the menu is based on the daily market and we were not... More

not commercial, very charming are the two slogans that come to my mind. This place has only like 8-9 tables. One waiter. Very authentic food and wine. Very, very charming - everything a dining experience in Italy should include. Definitely recommend to try for a change! The waiter knows whats up, trust his food recommendation.

After reading reviews about this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. Half the fun was trying to find it! You must have a reservation here as it is extremely small. The menu is based on what's fresh at the market and lucky for us, chanterelle mushrooms had just come in. We had this with pasta and it was... More

Our first night dinner in Venice.I had a very average Octopus salad. My husband ordered a 3 course prefix meal with different variety of sardines. He disliked all of his dishes. First night in Italy and it was not good.

Our party of six had supper here last night and it was delicious. The service was warm, friendly and personal. Really small restaurant with a great atmosphere. We were the second sitting at 9 pm but we did not feel rushed. The seabass and lobster was delicious and the fish main courses were excellent too. My daughter in law had... More

We ate hear on the last night. I really enjoyed our meal, it was delicious, but it was one of the more expensive meals of the trip. Probably over 100 Euros if you had wine and two courses.

We found the place by chance, as usual in Venice when you are walking along these laberynthical streets... It is a small enoteca with a large wine choice. The food is of very good quality and is cooked at the moment. The staff were very friendly, we really had a nice moment. Both the first courses (in general pasta with... More

I reviewed Alla Madonna yesterday. They are both in the same price range. Expensive. Ai Artisti is more upscale and modern with smaller menu. Madonna tries to serve more people with more selections. I liked both. I liked the wine selection better at Al Artisti and ended up with a 25 euro bottle of Sicilian Syrah which I liked more... More
