One of my favorite tiny hole in the walls ever!

we're been here 3 times already and it's just one of those places you want to keep on going to. As a matter of fact I will be there again next week bringing a friend. Very quaint and romantic with fabulous food. The ambience is perfection. Everything every time was fresh and magical!

Wonderful , the best meal we had in Venice . Small, very few tables along a canal. Exceptional pasta! Going back very soon on our next trip.

This is the best restaurant I have been to, including ones in the USA, London and France. I had sea bass and figs - absolutely wonderful. The chef heard us order dessert and offered to make us something special. Taken by surprise, we agreed, and he made us a gorgeous plate including chocolate mousse with ginger, creamy yogurt, and a... A small, atmospheric restaurant in Venice, by a canal where the service is slick but unstuffy, the food is classic and rather special and the bill isn't astronomical. Don't be daft, there is no such thing, surely. Ah, but there is and this is the place. It's not so much a restaurant as a canal-side bar that someone thought they... More

Incredibly good and inventive Italian cuisine with traditional recipes at the heart. We sat outside along the canal and there was a nice light breeze and great ambience. Inside was small but also looked charming. Great staff and wine.

A little hard to find, but worth it. Very small restaurant with defined seating for dinner. I was served the best black truffle pasta that I have ever had. Fantastic! Romantic! Lovely!

Went based on ratings at lunchtime. We were lucky. Nearly every table was reserved but we got there at the crack of opening. Food was VERY tasty - excellent pasta and rabbit. A little small on the sizing but it was lunch so we weren't too bothered. Didn't check out the clearly expansive wine selection.

Fabulous and friendly restaurant. They have only about 24 covers. You need to book. The raw fish starter was superb. This restaurant is a must when staying in Venice

Managed to get a last minute booking at this fantastic local restaurant in Venice. Great pasta with fresh seafood, attentive service and a comprehensive wine list. Bravo!

Walked past this beautiful small restaurant and it looked nice. Quality food, especially sea food. Long wine list with small exclusive wines and knowledgeable staff who can help find great food-wine pairings. Went here twice during a five day visit to Venice. Will definitely return next time in town!

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighborhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighborhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighborhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbors exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
