Just misses. Has the feel of a Hilton restaurant

I'll be honest, I probably didn't read the reviews properly, so I assumed, that given the location, there would be views. Instead we found ourselves in a freshly, if oddly decorated room, with very little outlook onto the main island. Too cold to sit outside so we could have been in a posh Hilton... read more

I'll be honest, I probably didn't read the reviews properly, so I assumed, that given the location, there would be views. Instead we found ourselves in a freshly, if oddly decorated room, with very little outlook onto the main island. Too cold to sit outside so we could have been in a posh Hilton anywhere in the world. This is how we ended our 1 week magical trip to Italy. In Venice - Molino Stucky Hilton, specifically in AROMI. After endless pasta, pizza and gelato, my family wanted something Mediterranean but with an Italian spirit. We choose to not leave the hotel and stay in dining in AROMI. The location is great and the view spectacular. However, what... More

Me and my wife planned to visit the sky bar at the Hilton for a romantic evening and a nice bottle of champagne. Before we did this we thought we would dine in the 'fine' dining' restaurant Aromi. Upon arrival we were seated next to a very noisy party, who were playing their own music very loudly. After the main... More

So came here for dinner expecting something decent. The menu is seafood heavy and we ordered the following. Ceviche Gazpacho Pasta with Rock Lobster Steamed Fish Platter Let's start with the "ceviche". I'll admit it looked good and was a nice variety - that's where it ends. It's not actually ceviche as most people know - it's more sashimi. The... More

Lovely setting and great food. My wife and I shared the sea bass which was excellent. Reservation is advisable. Giovanni as manager was superb in offering us hospitality and advice.

This is a fantastic restaurant. Little off the beaten track, but well worth the water taxi ride. It's extremely reasonable too; Cipriani isn't that far away and it's easily double the price there from looking at the menu as I walked past. We had 3 courses and wine and all came to €90 each. Staff really attentive and friendly. Views... More

My husband and I were in Venice and wanted a great Italian meal. It might seem crazy to eat at a hotel restaurant while in Venice, but DO IT! The service was 5 stare quality and the food was our favorite meal of our whole two week trip through Europe!

Staying in Giudecca

Neighborhood Profile
Giudecca
Giudecca is a retreat for Venetians away from the crowds. Symbolically, six metal teeth represent Venice’s six sestieri (districts); the seventh, Guidecca, points away from the others – part of Dorsoduro, but separated by the Giudecca Canal. Giudecca evolved from a center of shipyards and factories to a quiet residential area with a sprinkling of restaurants and bars. The majestic harmonious Redentore church stands as thanks for delivering Venice from the plague, hosting an annual heartfelt festival.
