Nice food and fair price

Loved the food every time I went there, not so touristy, a bit off the tourists track. Some people were complaining here about the service, but I never had a bad experience, always pleasant, nice and attentive service with the European flair - joke here and there, not breathing on your neck all the time.

In the corner of the Campo San Polo, is a modern tucked away Pizza joint. I thought the Pizza was good, was it the most stand out Pizza of all time probably not, was it a welcome restorative Pizza in a sea of Venetian PIzza places, yes it was. The service was good, once they discovered I was buying the... More

Nice place in a loft like approach. The Venetians go there to eat! Nothing sophisticated but simply excellent and fresh products. Good wine offer and their prices are reasonable. Place to be!

This place has no atmosphere at all. No friendly service and the pizza was not italian at all. Quality of the pizza was terrible. Too bad. Waste of money and time

From start to finish one of the best meals in Venice thus far. Gnocchi, ravioli, meats, artichokes, and torta were all very good. Service and atmosphere were also good. May have the cleanest water closets in Italy.

We have eaten here a number of times on trips to Venice and would certainly come back on a future trip. We've eaten Pizza and salad here and loved them. The pizzas were fantastic and the salad like nothing we had tasted before. We could actually taste flavour in the lettuce and the mozzarella on the salad was lovely and... More

I had the tomato pasta with Mozzarella and my husband had a pizza. This is a perfect affordable pizza place for a quick meal. The food was lovely and the service was great, but it's not the best food I've had in Italy. The only turnoff was the a big sign in the menu that read they use "fresh frozen... More

I ate there with my family and had a pasta with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese that was literally inedible! It is nice in the summer months with the tables outside in the courtyard but do not come here for the food!

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
