After a day of wandering around Venice we found this restaurant, the menu looked good. The menu also had a few squid ink dishes and we where yet to try squid ink. For the starter we ordered the Tuna tartare, this was served with a side of toasted bread. The tuna was very fresh and soft. This was the best... More

We stayed at the Al Ponte Mocinego hotel across the street and was recommended this place by our hotel. We were very happy with our meals here, we have been twice and will return before the end of our stay. The food was excellent, all fresh and well presented. Guido the manager/owner was a bit of a character, charging around... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and it was great! There is outside seating but as it was wet, we ate inside. The lady behind the bar and serving, along with the main man who kept us entertained, both did a very good job. The food was authentic and freshly prepared and delicious, with loads of choice. It is mainly fish... More

We were just staying a couple of doors down and every night we walked past this restaurant it was full so ate here on our last night and I'm so glad we did! The head waiter was a bit of a character and it is a restaurant that a lot of locals go to. We went at 7pm, without a... More

We ate here last Sunday, grabbing the final outside seat on a fabulously warm October evening. Having sat down we realised from the menu that perhaps seafood was the speciality and we do not eat fish!! However, we stuck with it and ordered the parma ham and melon, followed by Lasagne - absolutely fabulous! very tasty, simply prepared using very... More

The manager of this place ran around the restaurant constantly arguing with some guests who recieved some really bad food. The food we recieved was boring and not very good. The overall experience was destroyed completely by the behaviour of the manager. The other waitress who worked there that night was nice and tried to keep the manager calm and... More

We are a family of four including two young kids, 7 years old and 9 years old. Excellent welcome, excellent service, excellent food (our kids can be fussy eaters, but they demolished the mixed grill in minutes), and excellent price. Very high quality food, good portions, cooked perfectly, and excellent value (steak, fish, mixed grill, wine, beer, soft drinks, etc,... More

The right place for a break. The food is very good and prices are reasonable. The ambiance is typical tavern, charming and relaxing. The staff is almost invisible but there when you need anything. All the best!
