By writing the following, “Lovely place.,,, Hard to imagine a friendlier place anywhere. Authentic Venetian food,,,,. All supported by a multi-lingual expert staff…..in the centre of San Marco. If you are staying in Venice and don't go here you have missed out,” I must say that I am merely repeating the words of a previous reviewer. I have been to... More

Here everything is very well done. Service is absolutely flawless and was a lot of time, that I don't met such a kind of polite staff. The food is researched and puts you in a new taste experience, the wine selection is huge and full of quality. If you have a special night to celebrate, this place will be the... More

Although there were several families eating at the Bistrot de Venise on the evening we went to celebrate my wife's birthday, this really is a place for couples to appreciate a truly romantic setting in a city very much geared up for romance. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and, after some slight confusion over our booking time... More

A nice bistro near San Marco. The booking process was good and the service was friendly and efficient. The wine was also excellent. The only critisism from our point of view was that the menu was very limited, especaily if you dont like fish or beef carpaccio which was a problem for my wife. What there was however was an... More

Booked a table through their website, got a phone call within 10 minutes to confirm reservation. Service at the restaurant was excellent, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Food well worth the money. Impressed by menu, chef obviously has an interest in historical dishes of Venice.

Since my first contact with this restaurant all experiences were positive: the booking went fine, finding it in Venice was easy, director, maitre and waiters were fun and professional, the food was delicious, the environment was romantic and the price was fair. Simply perfect.

Lovely place. Hard to imagine a friendlier place anywhere. Authentic Venetian food and a stunning selection of wine. All supported by a multi-lingual expert staff. Most importantly, in the centre of San Marco. If you are staying in Venice and don't go here you have missed out.

Food: Our meals were excellent here. Between us we had the ravioli and the duck. Both dishes were really tasty and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable and we were given little treats along the way. Small duck starter to try and small deserts to try. These little tasters made you feel so special. Thank you! The best part of... More

I loved the over all experience at this restaurant. My husband and I both enjoyed traditional Venetian cuisine which we had never experienced before. The service was warm and comfortable. The food in Venice is expensive to begin with. We think this restaurant is reasonable considering the location and quality of the food.

We went to bistro de venesi for my wife's 50th birthday, we had the romantic menu and indeed there was a rose on our table, but that was it, table was not romantic at all, we got a table outside at an open door wich lead to the winechamber and a toilet, the food was not bad but not special... More

Buongiorno Ronny, we are a bit surprised of your complain about costs because you have been informed well in advance about prices and menu. You did not mention the heart shaped cake prepared by our Pastry Chef and did not mention about extensive service, wines and special extras during dinner. Concerning to Romantic sitting... probably inside (in winter time) there... More
