The hotel where we were staying recommended this restaurant to us when we were visiting Venice in June. We were delighted with it, We had an 8:00 o'clock reservation and arrived a few minutes late but the staff had held our outdoor table for us. The menu had many appealing choices and we ordered both primi and secondi . The... More

This is one of the best choices in the center of Venice. The food is just so delicious and the outdoor is great to enjoy the narrow streets of venice.

We finished a show late here in Venice, and were at loose ends to find an eatery with kitchen open after 10:30pm. A chance meeting with a roaming policeman ... and he directed us to Bistrot de Venise. They take orders as late as 11pm. The maître d' was a consummate professional, We enjoyed the very best of Italian service... More

We arrived around We ran into this place on accident our first night in Venice. I hadn't been expecting a finer dining restaurant but there we were. It was undoubtedly the best meal we had during our visit (for the adults at least). My wife and I both got the 4 course meal. Each course was a delight and well... More

The title says it all, it is one of the (if not the) best meals I have ever had. Even though it is quite expensive, it is worth every penny. The service and the atmosphere is the best, the restaurant is very nicely and luxuriously decorated. You can taste some historical venetian dishes from 14-16 centuries.

Went for my 40th birthday, just happened to walk by in the day and the menu looked interesting. Not a stunning location but the service is first class, the waiter was happy to recommend a wine and explained all the details about it including giving us a booklet from the vineyard. The menu is extensive and has some unusual and... More

Very friendly and efficient staff, nothing was too much trouble it was good to have waiters who smile. The food was excellent and the beef fillet was especially outstanding. The desserts were typical Italian and delicious. Not far from St Marks Square and the outside seating is best

We stopped in for a lovely lunch, very tasty food but perhaps a little bit expensive. The recommendations were good from the waiter, and he was very attentive and polite. We sat outside for the lovely weather and for the people watching - the outdoor area was not particularly scenic though compared to other locations/restaurants in Venice; we didn't go... More

We enjoyed a lovely meal on our first night in Venice. The 6 course Venetian tasting menu was delicious and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. We were here for our honeymoon and they made us feel special by bringing us a 'Heart of Venice' pre-dessert. Would highly recommend.

On a rainy Venice evening we came across this restaurant coming back from San Marcos, which had flooded. We thought the menus a bit pricey but the food looked interesting and we had remembered a good recommendation. We were very glad we decided to go in. The staff was cordial and VERY professional (thank you, Walter). We tried dishes from... More
