Followed a recommendation from our hotel and booked here for a birthday celebration May seem a little off the beaten tourist track and well worth the time to navigate here to build your appetite and anticipation on your walk to the plaza A broad menu with wonderful classic Venetian dishes (A la Carte, Winter Menu degustation @ E70 pp and... This is a real find. The atmosphere is busy and friendly and the food utterly wonderful. The menu was a challenge as there was so much that was interesting it was very hard to make a choice especially when the daily specials were given as well. The wine list was interesting and the food was not only inventive but tasty... More

Tucked away on little plaza near the church by the same name, this is a cute, warm and welcoming little place with the great Italian pasta and seafood Venice is known for. We were welcomed for lunch and had a great meal…everything fresh, including a nice green salad and breads, but the black gnocchi with fresh lobster sauce was a... More

Arrived at 7pm on a wet Thur night with family of five (I think seating starts at 7:30pm) as the restaurant was empty. Informed a short Italian fellow that we have no reservations. He was not verbally impolite but from his body language (Instead of eye contact fr a service personnel I could see his eyes looking at how we... More

I guess we have eaten here maybe 6 times over the last few years. The food is inventive, the service excellent and the wine list extensive (and expensive). This time was a birthday treat for me and the best birthday present I could imagine.

Remember, this is Italy, this is Venice, this is very, very close to the sea..... So seafood is kind of what to expect. That said the pasta's are all excellent with some sort of seafood twist, whether it's fish, molluscs or raw fish appetisers...it's all very tasty and creatively blended. Veal is great ....but try the seafood combined with the... More

I dare to say that this is Venice's best restaurant. Let the chef and the maître take care of your meal: outstanding raw and cooked fish appetisers, stupendous tuna carpaccio with white truffle, outstanding lemon risotto with red snapper, impeccable duck with chicken liver sauce. Rose Spumante and local red wine from heaven. Friendly and professional service in cozy interior... More

We dined here on a recommendation and it was absolutely stunning. The food was exceptional, and full of fresh flavours and ingredients. Each dish was served very creatively on the plate, and the entrée of four different shell fish was amazing. The service was polite and friendly, and the waiter was very knowledgeable on the wine list. He recommended a... More

We went to this restaurant on the basis of tripadvisor reviews & can fully endorse. We ate two different tasting menus which gave us a huge range to try & enjoy. The octopus, tuna carpaccio and veal were the highlights. The service was very friendly with a good wine recommendation. Would recommend.

We discovered this place form Tripadvisor and had one of our best meals in venice. They have a taster menu but we went for a la carte. The portions were big so I recommend to share starters. The have an innovative menu; we tried sea food and they were perfect. The staff was friendly and local wine was tasty. Overall... More
