Despite rave reviews I found it very disappointing. No atmosphere and without any glamour. he look on peoples faces suggested they were wondering why they were there. The Bellini served in glasses similar to the one I use for my toothbrush. Price ridiculous. Avoid.

Reading an article about Harry's Bar years ago gave us the idea to spend the holidays in Venice, so we just had to go in for our first cocktails of the day on Christmas. We had Bellinis, a must, really. There is a reason Harry's is iconic so we just went with the experience and really enjoyed it. I guess... More

Hospitality friendly but very professional. I use to have lunch or dinner at Harry's bar since I was child and it's impressive that the quality of the dishes is always the same and very high. The fishes are always fresh and good (not always the two things go together). The historical dishes (Carpaccio, scampi Carlina, risotto primavera, scampi termidor, crespelle... More

I would quite possible go all the way back to Venice by car, boat, plane or even swim just to have another Bellini. Quite expensive but worth every single Euro!

We have previously tried to fit into this place in the evening/night and found it impossible. So we went around 1 PM. We had one drink each, and it cost about $25-$30, but I got a nice helping of olives. Nothing great about the place but the history of it, which gives it some character. We just had to go... More

My family was looking for a place to have Christmas dinner in Venice. Someone recommended that we go to Harry's Bar. The atmosphere was quite festive and the service was excellent. Having said that, the food was ridiculously overpriced and, though well prepared, really not that special. Many of the items on the menu (such as the chicken curry or... More

The originator of the "Bellini", it was a very low key, Parisienne type atmosphere, but no kidding, if you want to spend a SMALL FORTUNATE on drinks - this is your location!!! We didn't have any food, but I ordered the classic Bellini and my husband ordered the vodka and tonic...$55 USD later, we had ourselves one drink a piece!... More

We walked into Harry's Bar for a drink, knowing it was a spot Hemingway used to stop at. The overall attitude was a little snobby, and the cocktails were the most expensive we had throughout our two week trip. My husband ordered a Manhattan, which was served in a shot glass and came with an 18 Euro pricetag. We enjoyed... More

I will warn you if you don't want to spend money don't go here. However if you don't mind blowing some cash for a great experience you are in for a treat! First have the Bellini so you can say you did. It's like going to the Ritz Paris and not having a Bloody Mary! If you hit a Hemingway... More

There really is nothing wrong with Harrys Bar. It is just that having read about it in novels and heard about it, I expected more. It was created to give the service and atmosphere of a good five star hotel bar in the 1930's and that is its charm. However the hotel bars have changed considerably while Harrys has stayed... More
