Our table was booked for us by the concierge from our hotel The Cipriani. We were shown up to a room on the first floor which was a disappointment in itself, however, we were dressed up very very smartly that night and I think that this is the reason that we were suddenly brought back downstairs and seated in the... Met friends for drinks - sat at the bar - there were four of us and also another party of four along side - both of the groups we told to be quiet - we were only chatting !! Obviously because of the location and name we expected it not to be cheap -sooo expensive - as we left we... More

Just love the atmosphere of this bar. The barman gave us a lovely insight into the history of the place and made us feel welcome. Love the Bellinis here and although they are overpriced, it's the sort of thing you would only do on holiday and only once! It's very plain inside but gives a feeling of a place steeped... More

No seats, people were rude, way to expensive for what it is - we paid the same price for drinks right on the grand canal in a much nicer setting - skip this one.

Fodors Italy guide asserts that the best place to dine here in on the ground floor . I disagree . Tables are packed together , there is no view ( unlike the superlative one upstairs ) and worst of all one cannot buy a bottle of wine . Only short drinks are dispensed . If you are planning to have... More

This was a recommended element to the trip. To have a Bellini at Harrys bar. The bar itself is tiny but you are nicely greeted and led to a poky area with small tables with no view over the waterways, you are charged for an overpriced drink. You decide.

we stopped in for the obligatory bellini. Very touristy, quite formal. No shorts after 6:00pm. Interesting people watching

Yes, I'd read the reviews. I knew the Bellini's were €16.50 each. I knew we couldn't wear shorts, that the service would be unfriendly, that it was pokey, no atmosphere and cramped. But - it couldn't be that bad could it? It was. Four of us had dressed up a bit (jackets for the gents, cocktail dress for the lady).... More

Harry's bar could do with a makeover. Don't go just to say you've been and done it as it will cost you plenty for average drinks. Also, wear long trousers as you will be asked to leave.

If you choose to go to Harry's Bar then you are going to pay a lot! We sat at the bar and had a few bellinis as something from the bucket list. The staff were warm and welcoming and the drinks were lovely (at 16.50euro a pop they should be)! Men must be wearing long trousers at night.
