Visted Harry's Bar as a party of 6. Arrived around 7.30 bu told we couldn't have a table just for drinks, so hung around the bar getting in everybody's way. Atmosphere was good but waiting staff had no time for pleasantries or making yu feel welcome. It lives on its reputation as a checklist item and not on its value... More

Was staying at a hotel nearby and just had to visit the original Harry's. Here is what I found....a belinni priced at 15 euros and 35 euros for a cheeseburger. I am glad that I got that checked off my list. I have been to the Harry's Bar in Rome and did not find the prices there as whacko as... More

After two weeks of touring Italy with our adult children and friends, we stayed in Venice for two nights before taking a cruise from the port in Venice. We arrived at Harry's Bar without reservations on a Friday evening and were promptly seated in the center of the main dining room. Our server was friendly and helped us navigate the... More

I have always managed to skip this place every time I pass through Venice. This last time I finally gave in and I'm sorry I did. The decor of the place is bare and the bar is full of tourists just like me who got suckered in to buy a 15 euro belinni. I drank up and walked out. I... More

Stumbled upon Harry's Bar while walking through Venice. The place was nice enough but the menu was definitely overpriced. I understand the legacy behind the place but 16 euro for a drink is a bit ridiculous. Our hotel front desk actually told us the bar had gone out of business and I can see why!

Nowhere could I find reference to a dress code in Harrys Bar. I went there with my wife in tempratures of 30 Degrees plus. I was met by a pompus waiter who told that there was adress code no shorts. He could have been more polite. I left. Things like this should be advertised. There are loads of good bars... More

Didnt even get to order a drink as my husband had shorts on and apparently they have a dress code! It isn't even anything special and we had a better time at Tarowskas American Bar, where the welcome was a lot more friendly.

Having read some of reviews on here, we were sceptical of visiting Harry's Bar however we were pleasantly surprised how good the Bellini's were. They are massively overpriced and the atmosphere isn't that great but the experience was pleasant enough. We had some tapas dishes here to accompany the Bellini's which were tasty however overpriced. Due to it's location, it's... More

Had drinks here and enjoyed the old fashion atmosphere. Wonderful service and high tariffs, but you can still feel Hemingway's presence!

We came to Harry's expecting the worst due to other reviews left on here and were pleasantly surprised. Good service, great bellinis, and a huge hot chocolate that was two servings large. Yes the Bellini is small and expensive but it was flavorful and delicious and to be honest the reason we went here was for the experience and we... More
