Firstly book you won't get in otherwise. We were served warm pre dinner snacks. Lovely touch. You must have the Bellini too. Quite a small restaurant but lovely all the same. Service typical Italian, very attentive.

I thought it would be an interesting place to visit - with the history and ambiance. It was a disappointment. I don't mind the expense if the service is good and the waiters are friendly but the service at Harry's Bar in Venice was a benchmark for bad. I watched as the 4 waiters ignored the 2 or 3 other... We really had a good time at Harrys, the bar tender prepares great bellinis, and Spritz (with aperol). Dont miss the carpacio, the sole with zuccinis on top. And finish with the chocolate cake, the zabaglioni, and the homemade vanilla ice cream!! We were 6 and payed 700 Euros.............was the most expensive restaurant in Venice!!!

Not real sure what the appeal is here....no view...sterile staff...and overpriced drinks. Way too many other options close by.

The iconic Harry's Bar is a must go at least once while your in Venice. Its very pricey, and the accommodations are modest. But the food is fantastic, and you really get that old Venice vibe. Make sure you are dressed up (no shorts for men) even for lunch. The carpaccio and the bellini's are truly the best! Our service... More

Went in for aa pre theatre snack so had a Bellini and carpaccio. Both delicious service excellent but we were dressed well- ready for a night at the Fenice. A wonderful iconic bucket list visit. Ambitiously priced but its the experience you are paying for.

Went to Harry's for lunch - as others point out it is fantastically expensive but I enjoyed very morsel of food! The assorted breads were the best we have had on this 4 city European adventure. The primavera salad was dressed perfectly and was a lovely mix of fresh greens, capers, raw beets, delicious tomatoes and celery . The prosciutto... More

Just back from a holiday in Venice and what a disappointment our visit to Harry's Bar was. Greeted rather abruptly by the doorman who whisked us quickly upstairs as we weren't dressed appropriately (shorts n sandals) where we sat and sat waiting to be served - even acknowledged. Finally another couple arrived and lucky for them a waiter appeared. We... More

Few nights in Venice Sept 14 with my lovely wife. She spoke about Bellini's and Harry Bar and how famous they both were. Made our way there on a hot Sun annual regatta day. Being a non dress up guy on holidays, my shorts and tee and jandals were frowned upon! We were whisked upstairs (as were informed there was... More
