This is a bit dishonest as I didn't actually visit here my wife did. Before the wife and her sister were going to Venice I did some homework and found this restaurant. She raved about it said the food and wine where outstanding and the prices very reasonable which is unusual for a touristy area. She says the people that... More

I think the Bruschetta was SUPERB! All thought it is quite out of the way, one can go to Rialto in the morning before heading here for lunch. Following which, venture into St Marco for a splendid afternoon!

We ate 2 dinners out of our 2 days in Venice ! It was so good after the first night that we had to return. The pastas are heavenly and the seafood risotto is a must-try - you can taste the sea !!! Very friendly place with great vibe ! Check out the paintings too - they are nice and... More

We went for dinner and had a risotto, a pasta an a salad to share. With half a liter of wine, 1 liter of water and 2 coffees we paid less than 30 ?. This place is cool, cheap and good. The waiter is a guy you want to go out with. The terrace is awsome and the atmosphere amazing.... More

We ate here a couple of times during a 3 night stay in the area given that the pasta was simple, authentic and not hideously overpriced like so much on offer in Venice. Definitely worth a visit.

Ordered bruschetta as a starter expecting a couple of small pieces of bread each. The platters that arrived were vast - and absolutely superb - main courses in themselves. We could barely do justice to the lovely pasta dishes that followed, but couldn't bear to leave anything as it was all so delicious. Thankfully we didn't have far to waddle... More

We had squid ink linguine and seafood risotto. Squid ink dishes are much better than what we have in HK. 7-9 euro is great value for these dishes. It is hidden in the backstreets. A laid back environment. Takes a little effort to find with google map navigation.

My wife and I visited Venice second week of October. We ate at this restaurant twice, both times at lunch, ordering sandwiches each time. We were lucky enough to have patio seats each visit which adds to the experience. The food was excellent. It is off the main tourist streets which makes for quieter dining pleasure. The waiter gave excellent... More

This small cafe like bar/restaurant is probably one of the top 5 value for money eateries in Venice and well worth a visit, especially at lunch time, although they do serve beautiful pastas which are available all day. The sandwiches, piadinis, pasta and apple pie were the fare that my wife and I sampled on 4 visits in 3 days... More

We got off the Vaporetto at San Toma and wound our way through the narrow streets until we found this gem for lunch. We got a small table for two in the rear, as the tables out front were all occupied by local businessmen in suits. We had a seafood risotto and a pasta in olive oil with a small... More
