We found this place in search of some ingredients to make a nice picnic, the man in the shop was so helpful and even gave us some samples of cheeses to try first. We ended up buying an amazing selection of meat and different cheeses and olives and were given a free jar of onion chutney to go with it.... More

We took a previous suggestion on trip advisor and went to Prosciutto E Parmigiano to get some meats and cheeses to make our own sandwiches (the bakery down the street for bread) and sit down by the water. They were extremely helpful and suggested the best for our tastes and even gave us a 'burrata' on the house which we... More

For food lovers looking for a relaxed picnic at a quiet but pretty campo and canal with simply the best Italian delicatessen this is the shop to go to. Small corner shop with all the ingredients one can wish for at top quality. Ars vivendi – Venice at its best.

Wonderful shop, with a very pleasant, helpful owner. We bought some Taleggio and Parma Ham, which was so sweet and almost dissolved in your mouth, eating it by the canal. Wish we'd bought more!

Buy your cheese and prosciutto here before leaving Venice! They will seal it for you, and it is in any case cheaper than buying at the airport. Excellent quality.

If you are self catering, this is really one of the place where you should do shopping. They can also pack your goods vacuum so you can bring them home. The staff is very friendly and try to advise the best they can (although they are not really fluent in English or French). Do not hesitate to follow their advice.... More

The parmigiano is fantastic! My only concern was that we did not buy enough of it and we have nearly run out of it already!! The olive oil and pasta is also really good.

If you want to buy some cheeses, cold meats or other typical Italian products (pasta, rice...), this is a good place. The owner speaks English and he will offer you the chance to taste the products before deciding what to buy. You can ask to have everything vacuum-wrapped. We bought some nice parmigiano, a couple of other excellent cheeses and... More
