This place has the best prosciutto and cheese.. parmigiano. So yeah, I guess the shopowner knew what he was doing when he named his place! :) Absolutely awesome food, and really friendly service. He vacuum packed everything for us, so we could take it home and still enjoy it a while from then. Heaven on earth when we open one... More

We just stumbled upon this gem near our hotel. We were thinking about buying some Italian food to take home with us to Norway and this shop was just what we were looking for. Small, but great, selection of cheeses and meats. They also have pasta, limoncello, jams and other nice things. And great, smiling service! They can vacuum pack... More

We found this place in search of some ingredients to make a nice picnic, the man in the shop was so helpful and even gave us some samples of cheeses to try first. We ended up buying an amazing selection of meat and different cheeses and olives and were given a free jar of onion chutney to go with it.... More

We took a previous suggestion on trip advisor and went to Prosciutto E Parmigiano to get some meats and cheeses to make our own sandwiches (the bakery down the street for bread) and sit down by the water. They were extremely helpful and suggested the best for our tastes and even gave us a 'burrata' on the house which we... More

For food lovers looking for a relaxed picnic at a quiet but pretty campo and canal with simply the best Italian delicatessen this is the shop to go to. Small corner shop with all the ingredients one can wish for at top quality. Ars vivendi – Venice at its best.

Wonderful shop, with a very pleasant, helpful owner. We bought some Taleggio and Parma Ham, which was so sweet and almost dissolved in your mouth, eating it by the canal. Wish we'd bought more!

Buy your cheese and prosciutto here before leaving Venice! They will seal it for you, and it is in any case cheaper than buying at the airport. Excellent quality.

If you are self catering, this is really one of the place where you should do shopping. They can also pack your goods vacuum so you can bring them home. The staff is very friendly and try to advise the best they can (although they are not really fluent in English or French). Do not hesitate to follow their advice.... More
