F30 Ristorante Pizzeria and Caffetteria is a new young place, close to Santa Lucia railway station and Piazzale Roma. We are facing the Grand Canal and we will have a space also outside on the Grand Canal. We propose a wide variety of recipes: from pizza, to pasta, meat and seafood (all local Venetian recipes) and a very low price and with great service. We also have a very nice bar working all the day long: from the breakfast in the morning to the late evening drink. And we also do our own pasta, bread and pastries.

I have never experienced such bad service in my life. It started off ok, we were a group of 13 tourists having dinner. Two of us ordered the tuna fish. When the waitress arrived with the plates she asked who to give the fish too, and then seem to become annoyed or frustrated because I indicated me and my friend.... More

Best Lasagna ever! Nice decor, great view, good service. No wifi. Overall, great experience. Moderately price. If the weather was warm enough, they have patio searing. Bathrooms were clean.

We stopped in here for a late lunch on our last day in Venice. We were welcomed and sat down by a very pleasant waitress and after looking through the menu both of us opted for the Calzone and a salad to share, the food came quickly and was really very nice. The only down point was that the staff... More

We visited this restaurant yesterday and the waiter who served was extremely rude. food was good especially the pasta was great but because of the service, we left with a very bitter taste. He behaved as if he was serving a free meal to every one. Manager was not in and so we could n't speak to him. there are... More

When I was in Venice I stayed in an Airbnb apartment and our host recomended this place. Never would I have expected to taste one of the best pasta! I can't remember the exact name of the pasta, it's either seafood or mussel pasta in tomato base sauce. It was really good! Every mouth of the pasta, you can taste... More

A nice little cafe, but a bit hard to find. Pizza was good, beer too. Service was acceptable, but a tad slow at times. Nice view of the canal, but nothing spectacular at this end of it. All in all, I'd stop her, as we did for a quick bit but there are places with more atmosphere over the bridge.

We went there once. It is located next to the train station. The restaurant is really nice and there is a big terrace in front of the river. It's beautiful. Everything we ordered that night was really tasteful. The portions were generous and the price of the wine was really adequate. The service we received was outstanding. I forgot the... More

we get off hot and tired from plane and bus from airport to piazza roma, cross the bridge and there is a haven of cool, open easy restaurant with friendly staff and good food at reasonable value - it's the third time we've stopped there and it gets better ... it is in a new shopping mall area next to... Only two waiters for the outside area. We wait about 10 minutes and no waiters came to us. So we decided to get the menus. The food came fast but my girlfriend asked for a glass of wine and it was funny how little was inside the glass. Nice enviroment, food ok, service terrible and wine glass was a comedy

Buongiorno! Thanks a lot for your very kind review. I'm sorry for the slow service, when it's very busy it gets hard to be very quick. The quantity of wine & beverages in general is standard, and it's the same you will find in every restaurant of Venice. It can look smal because of the dimension of the glass, but... More

Staying in Cannaregio

Neighborhood Profile
Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighborhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.
