Would give it zero rating if I could.

It's a shame becuase this nice local restaurant was sold to the Chinese, which would be fine but they were rude. The sign outside states they take Amex but when I went to pay, the owner wouldn't take it. He was very rude and had a nasty look on his face when I talked to him. I am very easy... read more

Apparently Do Mori was sold to new owners at the beginning of February and is no longer a great meeting place for locals, fishermen & canny tourists. We ate there last night & they have doubled the number of tables in the same space so feels cramped & very impersonal. You can see that they are setting up for the... More

We stayed at the hilton, it was just a short 3 minute walk away from this place. I went there with family and my fiance and we all had the most delicious pizzas we have ever had. My fiance also had a side portion of chips with his pizza and even said the chips was the best he ever had... More

We ate at Trattoria do Mori February 10, 2015. This was the worst place we ate at since coming to Venice. The antipasto was a small portion for a whopping €15 and our pizza was soggy. The pizza was €8. The service was ok and the waitress tried very hard to explain the menu in English. The Oriental owner stood... More

Stayed at the Hilton Molino Stucky but ate in Do Mori. The pizzas are to die for, very large and thin based. My husband and I had one each the first time but better for us to have one large pizza and a portion of salad or fries between us, and the staff happy to do this. Very reasonably priced... More

Really wanted a decent pizza and happen to stay nearby in Hilton. Saw reviews, walked down and Bang! Fantastic thin crust, chewy pizza. Very flavourful and great prices for Venice. A continual stream of people coming in for take out. I understand why. If you are in the area then make sure you head here for the pizza.

It is not easy to find a good pizza in Venice: I can count a few Pizzerias that really deserve that name. among them for sure there is the Trattoria & Pizzeria Do Mori. I was by Do Mori's a few days ago and I ordered an excellent pizza Mameli: its taste was really delicious. I asked for a well... More

A short walk from the Hilton Molino Stucky, we stumbled accross this restaurant. It had good traditional pizza, numerous pasta dishes, and a decent selection of other entrees. The house wine was good and inexpensive. We were in Venice, staying on the island of Giudecca, and ate here both nights, once inside and once al fresco. The kitchen was open... More

Do Mori is one of those rare places that manages to be a proper local restaurant that also welcomes tourists but without losing any of it's local 'feel'. Come here at lunchtime & you will rub shoulders with local workmen (always a good sign), in the evenings it is a mixture of local families & people popping in to pick... More

They make a great pizza. Thin crust, great sauce. We got take-away, though they do have tables. Right on the water overlooking the Giudecca Canal. Perfetta!
